Map boss fight is not fun!

"
Just put boss atlas to 0 and sneeze at them. They drop nothing anyway.

That's so true. I killed a T16 82 level union of souls x20 map boss today and it dropped a single rare with t3 mods. Endgame is so unrewarding and completely random.
Neden yaşıyorsun?
There is a keystone called "Glancing Blows". I turned this on on my evasion/deflection andy and suddenly was able to do T3 simulacrum and T3 expedition where I could not before. You will get hit more in maps.. but for stuff like slams/spells that you can't avoid it's night and day.

When I lose to Mel, I don’t get knocked back to Margit after hardly seeing one move.
There is evidence of this all over the game.
Maybe try to make the game fun instead of the middle finger.
Until then, unknown one shots will never go away no matter what you do.

no but you do lose a bunch of souls if you don't plan ahead right and lose more than once. and souls are how you get levels. you don't get knocked back to geonor when you die to a random boss at the end of a map, you lose 10% of your xp up to a limit of the current level you're at. you guys are all so dramatic.
Ya. I have experienced that as well before with my [Lighting spear amazon] a week ago.

I have leveled up a 90 Amazon, and the gear he had was over 200d.

I had 49% deflection damage reduction, 67% chance to evade, 64% chance to deflect (over 17000 evasion), 1990 hp + maxed 75% all resistance.

I can hardly damage the boss with over 150k on my lighting spear and I kept getting 1-shot by bosses that are not "empowered".

Like any other meta build, spending around 200d is gonna play ALL end game content without any issues. I swapped to a bow-based build, and I have been absolutely crushing it across juiced maps. That said, I did have to buy an Olroth's Resolve recently to keep myself alive in delirium maps on some very difficult modifiers.

Just picture that being forced to do bosses on every map is difficult for someone who is able to spend over 200+d all at once in a new character, how insane it would be for a new player who is entering the end game without that sort of cash backing; it will be next to unprogressible for anyone playing non-meta builds.
Just try the glancing blows keystone on your evasion deflection character.

Personally, I have already taken that.
I am sure alot of other people also have experienced the same problem after taking that.

This keystone alone does not resolve the problem. It is also a huge trade-off as you will get hit more often overall.

If the mentality is to trip up, hinder, or gotcha the player, nothing works.
There is. A clear difference and I’ll give you an example.
Melania is a challenge. Once you get her down, you have a sense of accomplishment that you’ve overcome the challenge.
Consort Redahn is the exact opposite.
He isn’t meant to be a fun challenge, he’s a fun runner.

Well said.

Currently the devs seems like they are focusing too much on the "Gochat" move. This becomes the problem when there are modifiers like "monster increase movement+action spd by 30%" in maps. You just cannot get away from certain moves in time even if you know it is likely coming.

Also, there are so many surprise hits when you are mapping. Seems like their solution to "stopping" some unbalanced build is giving players the "jump scare" damage; an attack that looks very not obvious and sometimes almost like environment effects.

Lastly, they NEED to introduce a death recap function so players can actually learn from their deaths. There are so many deaths in this game where players just don't know how they die and how to avoid it in the future.
map bosses should be optional like before
Huh? My dude if you get decent evasion/defl gear and points on the tree glancing blows will put you at like 98%.. yes you get hit more often by little hits but who cares? The point is the slams/spells that are one shotting you because you can't evade them at all won't anymore. Your response makes no sense to me.
