POE2 has way to many currencies
Still missing 80% of currencies from Poe 1. We'll get there

If your friends are overwhelmed by too many currencies, maybe recommend them simpler game like some idle cookie clicker or something? You have to do literally 0 crafting to cruise through T15/T16 without a problem. Simply buy decent items without going through pretty convoluted "crafting" system.

If you think there are too many currencies= go to D4. Currently, there's too little loot in PoE 2. A variety of currencies would go some way toward addressing this issue and provide a huge amount of crafting variety. |

PoE 2 is starting to feel like a cheap mobile game at this point. The game looks awesome, but that will get old soon enough.
It will be a free game, tho. And it is behaving like a free game after all. I expected more from GGG. They have started to legit looking like a mobile Tencent game... |

" In D4 you collect the currency by large amounts without even noticing. You run out of something, do a NMD, and suddenly you have a surplus of it to keep going for a while. The really important currency like Obducite can be obtained by decent amounts in the same places. That is not the case in PoE2. You gotta commit A LOT to a certain activity in order to ATTEMPT to farm a tiny and usless amount of it, not to mention that sometimes you have to wait several hours of mapping until you can actually obtain something that is ALSO RNG (like the most important Omens). D4 is a game that despite not being the best, it is a game that have learned the lesson. GGG should've learned it, too. But they are making the same mistakes they did in PoE1, but even worst in some cases. |

" I think it is funny that people believe that adding more currencies automatically make a crafting system more fun. Simplicity is sometimes the key to a more engaging crafting system. Lost Ark is a good example for that. I'm not saying PoE2s crafting system should be like the one from Lost Ark, but that example shows, that more currencies doesn't make it better. For most players, it's just straight up confusing. Especially for those that didn't play PoE1 for many years. Like I said before, an intelligent designed crafting bench that guides the player through the whole crafting process AND has access to the storage would be pretty good, because then the complex crafting ets streamlined thanks to the guiding crafting bench, making it easier for all players, but especially accessable for those that don't have time to memorize all 250+ currencies and how they interact with each other. |
