No OP you said it pretty clearly, and its just wrong.

20% XP lost is disproportionate

You dont lose 20, you lose 10.

i understand you are totaly right.

But theoretically, you need another 10%.

The player levels up 10%. So when they die, they have to start over. So you'll play another 10% (in time). Do you understand me?. it is also a matter of time.

it is just a proportion of time, not xp. this is what i mean.
the math will always math

either you intentionally crafted wrong to say this, or you're just making up numbers
all i see in dat msg - ICONS PLS (disable enable mode)

Huh ?

You are 3rd in a race. You overtake 2nd. What's your rank now ?
There's only one good answer, no "but" exists, even when you try to bring magical "theoretically" word.
You are playing way too much. Take a break, man.

Crafting is much much better compared to last leagues.

Bosses were / are too easy.

Watching a few racers playing the campaign would help you a lot in understanding how to go through the campaign faster. Not knowing the layouts and where certain items drop every time (i.e. the regal orb in the cemetery abyss, the lvl 5 skill gem and the supp. gem in the Manor Ramparts, etc.) are the biggest issues people have when they complain about campaign maps being too big. It's mostly a skill issue tbh.

I agree with some of the things you said, but I gotta go back to work.

What I find to be the biggest problems are: too much irrelevant / bad quality item drops, no reward for combos like improved quality of said item drops or xp multipliers. Currently there isn't a reward for pushing people toward playing combo builds. I have a post about my issues with the game but it is as long as a novel.

P.S: check havoc616 on YT, he does guides for league starts. I think 5 - 7 hours to finish the campaign of a game is super ok.

no... am not crafting wrong. the game is addicted, it dosent matter how many new currency hey add to game, it will always rolls worst modifires. they need to rework itens modofires to otimize the "crafting".

if you have played for 40 years you should be familiar with the concept of death penalties

Yeah, a concept that's so outdated and archaic that it should have been left and forgotten in the past. Nobody needs these ridiculous death penalties, they bring 0 positive things to the game, just a downside. If they deleted exp loss people would forget it ever existed like a week later and the game would be more fun.

Its outrageous that a game has to punish the player while they're already down. It does not, dying in itself already feels bad. Having a punishment for failure which actively wastes your time and deletes the progress you have made in any game just makes the average player wanna alt+f4 lmao

If death penalties are so great for the game why don't they just quadruple-down and go all out? Why not make your character's gems lose levels on death? How about losing a random gear piece every 5th death? /s
