I tried to write a shorter text, but there are so many mistakes that it ended up this long. I apologize to the reader. I confess I didn't want to post anything else on this forum, but I felt it was important to say certain things. I've come to the conclusion that everything we post here is actually taken into consideration. There are many good solutions, but GGG always came up with their own "solution." i quit this game, this is not a hate or rage againest any one. we love peace and freedom of speech. i quit after +2000 hours played. First, this new patch is very bad and only created gameplay and progression problems. There are much easier solutions to provide in the game, instead of continuing to do things that don't make a difference. I deleted the game and will no longer play POE 2. The game has problems in every aspect: gameplay, mapping, crafting, XP, and progression. It's a sea of bugs. Gameplay: The game is slow, tiring, and the campaign is unnecessarily long, especially Act 3. The way to acquire Ascendants was mainly through Trial of Sekhema. It's some of the worst content I've ever seen in my entire 40 years of gaming. Another thing that stands out is that everything in this game has a penalty, absolutely everything, including unique items. I still wonder: how difficult is it for you guys to create a single good unique item? Without penalties, without these chance rolls? This game has no trade market... the market has imploded from so many bots. Don't you have a solution for this either? Can you explain your hatred of solo players? I'm antisocial, and I like to play alone. Even that is punishable... You really don't waste time, you created a game where playing solo isn't worthy of good loot. I'm not obligated to play with people... my god... The passive tree is horrible, there are no toughness bonuses, everything is dependent, nothing is exclusive, some vital points for certain builds are super distant, especially for minion builds. I can't find appropriate points in the passives to use a radious gem in my infernalist minion build. The character is level 96. Mapping: As I said before, everything in this game has a penalty, but I can say that mapping in this game is very bad. This system of reducing portals based on the number of modifiers is a complete retrogression. This problem, Mr. Developer, is the player's. He wants to play a map with 10000000000000000000000 modifiers with 6 portals, assuming that everything in an ARPG is loot and XP. The correct solution, without exception, is to have 6 portals, period. If a player dies 6 times on the map, that's his problem. There's loot, and with one portal, the player will be punished three times: losing the map, the XP, and the loot. In an ARPG, every player must have a certain number of chances. Maps are end-game content; they're the only resource the player has for loot and XP. And one of the most outrageous things: T16 maps are gambled with Vaal Orbs. I need luck to make T16 maps. This is a joke. I feel cheated. besides... game still unrewarding... high level players with alot of IQ and IR keep droping itens level 1 9 22 and 33. with new patch, things got worst. After this horrible patch 3.1.0, the bosses in the maps noticeably have higher HP and deal more damage. So the question remains: what did the characters gain? You increased the bosses' damage, health, and resistance stats, but the characters stayed the same. How can this be right? This is disproportionate. There are a lot of people playing legitimately. Many people couldn't farm 1,000 Div in 5 seconds. Even with over 2,000 hours played, I haven't dropped a mirror. I played POE 1 for 6 years and dropped a mirror. Crafting: The system is rigged, and yes, I tested it... with 99 items of each. Yes, I did. This "crafting" is gambling. You created two new currency types for Chaos Ex, etc., and created Omens, but I couldn't solve it. The system is flawed. My experience was this: 99 of each. Rings, armor, and gloves. 90% of the time, using new currency with Omens, rolls with mana or evasion. 95% rolls with life on kill, mana on kill. You can create the 5th version of Exalted or another currency with... It doesn't change. What should change are these modifiers, especially prefixes. Crafting is creating an item; without a Scouring Orb, there's no crafting. Pearl ring roll with evasion, the same jewel rolls with two weapon types. You created a flawed and exhausting method. I've only managed to create one good ring and one good glove in my entire POE 2 game with all the resources. Instead of adding all these orb versions, why don't you create a Scouring Orb? Why does the annul always take away the item's best modifier? Who cares about light radius and other meaningless modifiers? Why do caster rings have evasion and not ES? So much currency for nothing... XP and progress: mathematically, 20% XP lost is disproportionate. It would be proportional if the player had 10 bars to fill and level up, not 20. The rate of XP gained on each T15 or 16 map is absurdly low, and with this new patch, it became impossible to level up. As I said before, all the toons lack toughness, the amount of damage is disproportionate to the amount of life defenses and resistances. The game is far from being an ARPG. Maybe you don't even know what an ARPG is. DEVS !!. you need to rethink, and listen to community. peace to you all. The fact that you claim it's 20% xp loss shows you don't know what's going on at all. |

Only people still left playing this season are just toxic and bitter its sad, I agree with you all this last update did was hinder the amount of progress we can make, Maps use to be able to have 9-12 tablets on them if they were overlapped by 3-4 towers, now max tablets a map can have? 3... Oh and you have to run that map as a 0 revive 6 modded map!!!! woohoo we were all asking for this right!... right?????? NO. Before if you failed a tower, could rerun a new 6 mod map and try again, that buffed all surrounding maps, so only 1 6-mod map was "forced" to get full effects of tower, now to get all 3 tablet slots on a map, 6 mod map, so now in a way "forcing" 6 mod maps, but you don't have to run a map with tablets its all "optional" well when the whole game is designed around limited time season, we don't just have infinite time, the season lasts 4 months as stated by GGG, we have 4 months to try out all the different builds we want with all their needed gear etc, so we need as many drops as possible, this last update has made getting those drops even harder limiting the amount of tablets we can put on maps, might as well just play standard at this point have lost all will to continue seasons

This is why i dont complain about exp loss anymore. GGG Treat exp loss like a badge of honor, the true POE players (you know the guys and girls that have posters, clothing, wallpapers etc) also regard this as a proving ground. Im at 99 pushing for 100 (slowly at start, first ARPG since D3) 1340hrs on only 1 character, played the same character since the start, each update i change minions to adjust for balance (also keeps it fresh). I died 3 times at 99, once i forgot to turn on omen ffs (dont ask why i had it off) 10% at 99 is almost a week of progression..... 2 deaths my fault. Im at 18% again, and i will keep going, it is the challenge that drives us. Thanks to POE 2 each death i play a different game for a week or two, D4, LE etc 4 hours = 1% exp for me is a general calculation. The 1 portal per map thing is the weirdest thing they've done with this game. I have no clue why they didn't just copy+paste the already working,good endgame systems of PoE 1 then just polish them up and make up some new mechanics,lore and there you go. Its probably gonna take a few more patches for it to actually be playable and fun. The devs need to realize that not everyone wants to be forced to play pseudo-hardcore. Their main playerbase, like 90%+ of people play in Softcore. And yeah exp loss is just pointless, all it does is waste people's time, take away experience they earned, and make them want to quit and uninstall. Its such an outdated mechanic, like the game does not need to punish you extra for dying. Dying already feels bad, respawning at a checkpoint already wastes a bit of time and if the map system was actually good then you'd only lose 1 of 6 portals. No further death penalties are needed. |
