Don't project your own gaslighting on to me, I have been pretty clear from the start and cannot stress this enough, I want the mapping to not be a maphack borefest.


so you want mapping to be less boring? without rare icons?

so why are you not complaining about the maps being cut in half in size?
or the pack size nerf?
or the number of monsters nerf?

id say killing 300 instead of 600 monsters is pretty boring. dont you?
id say killing the same bosses, on the same maps, everytime, is kind of boring, dont you?

so you dont want icons... does that include extra content icons? how about portal icons? how about checkpoint icons? those are all maphacks showing you things you would not see on your screen. do we get rid of those too... for youre 'vision' of what is not boring or a map hack?

at least we understand what an arpg is.

you dont seem to understand what it is.. lol its all about the loot. and you no longer get half of what you used to. mostly because players dont wanna go around for 5 minutes looking for shadows. the icons got rid of this problem. (the other part is this dumb company turning the loot knob to off)

im glad you play trigger builds. it explains why you were so triggered to begin with getting called out for your failed logic

I probably won't really manage to get you to see that it's you who's pushing your own conclusions unto another, (speaking of gaslighting) but I will answer regardless.

Having half the mobs in a smaller map has nothing to do with more/less fun, u just take longer/lesser to clear the map. And it being only in low maps doesn't really affect the seasoned player who's going to be running t9's and above as soon as they finish the campaign.

And of course, since this is your own issues with this and not mine, this has absolutely nothing to do with my original standpoint: Path of Minimap is cringe, playing "rush the yellow cross to the yellow skulls" is definitely not what I would call a good ARPG experience.
Guys I have a compromise. We make it a toggle in the settings so the people who enjoy playing blind can also have fun.

You're such a cry babies, this game was supposed to be something else than speed grinding and danger signaling at every corner so you losers don't die. Rare icons is another -1 to integrity and immersion of the world, it kills the suspense between fighting rares, the fact that they die too easily is even bigger problem that should be addressed asap, it renders them meaningless, and that would be your feedback if you were based, instead of "oh just give me icons so I can delete them faster" making the problems of the game even worse.

You're giving all wrong advice to developers to help them destroy their game, in fact you're reversing it into same old or modern non-sense, so you can repeat same easy thing over or get your dopamine fix or whatever bs. You never strived for excellence and you always hated their vision, because you don't get it, and they need to stop taking advice from that crowd.

At last, stop educating people what arpg is, because you have no idea what it is. If cavemen would say that caves are the only possible home it would be you living in them forever.

Hey bro, fuck engaging and meaningful combat ok? This should be reserved to boss, not mapping. You can be salty all you want and insult the streamers and player base of this game, this won't make you any close to be right.

As for boss icons, they are a huge QOL since they are the only thing that drop anything relevant and they absolutely didn't need to be removed. But you want players to have to scan all fucking corners of the map to find them and of course to you thats where the fun stem because "that's meaningful".

You call people who wants to have the icons back cavemen but you literally act like one.

Why would engaging combat be reserved only to bosses? White mobs should die fast, but not the elites. I think developers would disagree with you, why would you even put elite monster powers design into the game, if they are only supposed to be a loot pinatas according to what you're saying?
