It's sick that some players (even female ones) want their character to look sexy? I mean, no one here asks for a nude mod / skin. We are talking about skins that are on par with the skin from Asala (see first post). So we ask for something that is already in the game, but sadly not as a skin, but as an npc. Why is Asala as an NPC allowed to wear something that looks appealing, while our female characters are fully covered, losing almost all of the feminine aspects, especially with most of the MTX skins. I mean, lets be real here. Players always liked attractive video game characters. We had this with Lara Croft 1 and from there we had alot more female heroes that were attractive/hot or wore something revealing. Men are mostly simple creatures. They see something attractive, they like it and are happy. Why is that sick? |

okay point to you I might have been a bit to harsh in my choice of word, I do think peoples mindset are generaly to smutty though. I do not agree with the equation of less clothing = more attractive as well. Playing Witch or Sorc already has the desert outfit where the character is pretty much in a swimsuit level of clothing and I'd much rather have a proper full body outfit that actually fits int the setting and doesn't completely ruin the immersion.
No way in hell is anyone gonna convince me they want sexy skins for the aestethic and not because of wanting eye candy. |

being unable to enjoy something because you don't find it arousing is a bit... how to put it... alarming? but yeah i'm no doctor or Freud to comment on the 'sick/healthy' part. this would prob vary on your culture/customs as well.
the whole aesthetic argument goes out the window in poe2 because base items look absolutely gorgeous here esp when compared to poe1 (kinda odd marking decision tbh) if it would be MTX i see no prob, but it should never go vanilla/base game |

I get the idea but how you are suppose to see your MTX while whole screen flashes, fogs , speed clears ? Even they put an MTX i doubt those skins look like other MMO games outside of Hideout.

" Aestethic, attractive, sexy... It doesn't matter how you call it. In the end, some of us like to see something with appeal. I mean, none of the male of female heroes in movies is unsexy. Most of them wear something skin tight, men are mascular, women usually have bigger breasts and some attractive curves. Or look at anime or like I said before, many games released in the past. And as soon as developers try to release characters that look "normal" or uninteresting, like in Dragon Age Veilguard, the game flops. People just like to look at beautiful things. For me, seeing an attractive woman is like seeing a beautiful sunset, or a color I like. I don't degrade her by looking at her, I just witness the beauty. Nothing wrong with that, I guess. And if people ask for sexy skins, they dont ask for nude skins. They ask for clothing that just emphasize the female figure - like actually seeing some curves. If you look at all the MTX clothing and most of the normal ones, your character doesnt even look female anymore. I agree with you that less is not always better. I can just repeat myself and say: Look at Asala in my OP here. GGG decided to make her sexy and she is one of the very few characters that also actually fights with you. That means, in PoE2 you don't need a "proper outfit", you need an outfit that has magical enhancements, which then protect you. Similiar that rings and amulets do tons of shit for you, even if they dont cover your body. And while Asala looks sexy, I dont think her outfit is "perverted" or degrades her in any way. It's just sexy and underlines her dominant character. She can wear something like that and doesn't have to be embarrassed, because she is a leader and has tons of self-esteem.
