PoE2 has already failed on what it set up to do before it even released.
Game feels good to me.
Only issues i have are combat balance of abilities and Ascendancies being more fun, consistent and developed. Also some changes to how towers work on the Atlas would be cool, so it's less random to find the good spots. 0 crashes, 0 lags this league. Nice market in game finally. Fun and challenging bosses and systems. (Try Azmeri Wisped+double mod boss on t16 deli Citadel - it's amazing encounter!) It's not poe1 so you cannot just autopilot through the game while getting epilepsy (you now get epilepsy while focused on survival!). Plays well. Character progression feels good. I am pushing T16s with 50%+ deli atm. I die in 1 out of 10 maps more or less now. Seems fine to me. If you think you should be dealing more damage, because boss can one shot you, you are wrong. You should be anticipating the one shot and stop the tunnel vision for the window of this happening. Otherwise it's a skill issue - you just refuse to play the mechanics. If you just want to skrrrrr forward, go play roguelikes instead. GGG said they want boss fight to last a minute. https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/Evergrey-7535/character/Ever_Grey Last edited by Evergrey#7535 on Sep 13, 2025, 7:00:04 AM

I agree with op .3 killed my interest in poe 2. The original .1 seemed to be designed more for co op gameplay. Feel its the reason they brought split screen to combat. D4 was boring for its resource management style gameplay and poe 1 is just as boring when you get your character online. Unfortunately ggg took ppl not playing in .2 as bc the streamers quite early which was not the case. It was the bad state of balance between skills and the passive tree. Instead of just adjusting the damage numbers they uprooted the whole system and kept the same unbalance in the game just reduced monster stats to make up for the poor damage balance. Really wish they would go back to the original vision then just resort to going back to what has worked for them in the past

They won't go back to PoE1 vision, that's why they made Poe2, to fix some of the design flaws and reset the power curve/creep.
If you don't like 0.3 I think it's safe to say at this point that you don't like the game, that you expect something else out of it which is totally fine but it's also time for you to move on and maybe come back later when game is out of EA. Agree 100% They promised something else not poe1 clone at endgame. If poe2 will be looks like that on release, then I have question: why even they does create new game than just graphic overlay (what was primal option).
I don't talk about slowly pace like in campaign but it current absurd should be gone. Last edited by Kaczuś#2032 on Sep 13, 2025, 8:28:05 AM
