Shade Walker on rare abyss mobs

Hello,

My resists are capped at 75% (67% Chaos), I also have life leech, and I have also used Ultimate HP flask whilst fighting a Rare abyss mob with the Shade Walker modifier (Tier 6 map). However, I am a Dex class using Evasion (79%) & Deflect (87%), and I assume that mob's damage scales with armor, because that's the only modifier that kills me 100% of the times and it feels like there's nothing I can do against it.

Please investigate further on balancing it around Dex melee builds, thank you for your hard work!

Found out that the said modifier tp's to the player and creates Desecrated Ground which deals phys dmg dot and prevents HP recovery. The problems I spot with this, are:
1. if the distance is a little too great (like 2 dodge rolls?) after dodging the tp, it will tp again;
2. preventing ALL of life recovery is too far of a stretch -- maybe just reduce it?
3. as it scales with armor, Dex and Int melee classes suffer the most -- enable energy shield leech and/or life leech against it?

Bump, this mod is absolutely busted. disabled regen + heavy dot + teleport on top of the player doesn't make any sense, since regen is supposed to help you mitigate heavy dots. If it was a slow mob that we can react to it would be totally fine.

I suggest making this mod have a teleport + degen, or teleport + reduced recovery, but all 3 and disabled regen is very unbalanced. Im playing a blood mage build that uses life to cast spells and whenver this mob teleports on me i instantly die, no counterplay.

This mod is so unplayable as a melee dex/int character myself. straight up unfun
Yeah, this is a bit of a joke. If you play ranged you might not even notice mod is a problem. Hilarious.
Literally just made a post about this as well. These mods are game breaking and exhausting to play.

I'm playing a monk and all my res are capped (including chaos) there was this one map that had an Abyss right at the begging and it was a corridor so I couldn't avoid it, one of those monsters spawn and if I get within melee range my HP would go down at a faster rate than my HP pot could heal - I lost the map right at the begging, couldn't get past the mob

So this mechanic just punishes melee, even further. Got it.
