Trading Bots are destroying the game

Whole lot of cope coming from botters in this thread
The thing that worried me the most about trade that works like this, was bots sniping all the good items before other people could buy them...
Let's work together to make this world a better place :)
How do you know the item is gone in 1 second when you say it takes you 5 seconds to get to the item? Someone could be 0.01 seconds faster than you and the item will be gone.
And this is why any sort of online trade in games is just a chore for everyone involved.

If you do "face to face" trading you have to deal with rude, unresponsive and overall asshole people. This also does not stop bots, you could be trading with a bot at any point.

Do the automatic type of trade and any bot/script will always have the advantage.

Reason why I prefer games that are balanced properly and actually allow you to develop your char and gear all by yourself. No bot will ever ruin that experience.
They should add a "are you a human" checkbox or random captcha when you press the teleport into sellers hideout. Yes it would be bit more clicks etc. but could drop the bot amount drastically.
You stand before the gates of the Lord's Labyrinth. Within these walls, the Lady of Justice doth preside.

Hi,

With the new offline trade feature the trading bots issue has gotten way worse.
I've been monitoring the trade website and items appear on the trade site and in less than 1 second they are already gone. Idk how its even possible to teleport in-game so fast because for me it normally takes 5 seconds (loading teleporting screen).

Is it possible that people scan the trade website and they see what was listed for sale before players can see the item by using the "live search" feature?

There must be some sort of a delay. GGG I hope you'll do something about this.
it's plain cheating!

You have zero way of knowing who bought the item, for instance yesterday i was buyign a pair of boots of ullr, and whilst searching twice i snipped 2 pairs at 4ex and not 3-4 div, i flipped them.

When items are listed you have to understand that unless your playing a really really rare build you will have 10,000s of players looking for the same,

You want to stop that , stop playing the meta, i have a build and EVERY item i wanted to buy had been listed for 1+ hour because no-one else playing that build, but want to buy a pair of Boots of Ullr, for minions or a deadeye items then clearly you going to have stiff competition.

the biggest difference is you can see the tradfe live now, where as previously or POE1 you tihnk the seller is ignoring you, when in fact he is already selling it etc.... its no different.

Lastly the 'live update' only refreshes every server parse, so if someone else is getting the parse faster than you, then they will see it before you, your internet and latency will not be the same as others, hell if you have 2 people in the same house they will both see the same item at a different time.. might only be 0.5 - 2 secs difference but enough to make it seem like they sniping or botting.
In LE item bought from the market cannot be listed on market again. Problem solved since day 1.

its not perse that there are many trading bots its just that there are many degenerates who just spam the refresh button on a 4k+ usd computer and they simply load it faster than most regular people

they snipe it and sell it for a higher price and make like 20-40div a hour doing this shit one of my guild mates is doing this and i dont know how he can enjoy the game like that

You don't even need to be spamming, just turn on Live search and you'll get an audio notification when something pops in.
doesn't the rate limit thing stop spamming?
