Fucking get your Campaign Length right

I'd be fine if they added a campaign skip but ONLY for ssf. As long as there is trade it isn't really fair to add a skip. That will pretty much force everybody to skip whether they really want to or not.

EDIT: Just realized that would mean you would not be able to migrate to regular league as well.

If all the trade league players disappeared tomorrow so would POE.
If all the SSF players disappeared basically nothing would change.

Personally, I have nothing against long and epic campaigns, 10h, 30h, 100h ? Dont care.
However, if I have already ran the content multiple times, I'd like to have an option to skip parts of it If I want to. Because, in a nutshell, it gets kinda boring, because you already know ins and outs of the content from running it 10s of times if not hundreds.
You could say that endgame is more sandbox-y, and some people just like that more.
At the very least some skip features for alt chars in a league.

I'm not promoting ssf. I don't usually play ssf. I do like the campaign though and the argument saying I could just play the campaign and not skip doesn't work. If you allow skipping in trade it will practically force everyone to do it. At least if they want to even be close to the same power/wealth level you would have to skip.

Im against skip to be honest. I want a reworked Campaign.
- Act 1 is fine length wise

- Act 2
- Remove Buried Shrines (the whole area with Keth is just to big)
You have first Keth then Lost City, then Buried Shrines and then
the Boss. Thats honestly to much. Especially because the whoel area
isnt teaching the Player anything and only Keth gives you 2 passive
skill points.
- Also Path of Mourning can be removed imo. Its an emoty area you just
have to move through as fast as you can. Nothing of Value is there.
- We also got Ligthless Passage now so i would say Combine Mastodon
Badlands and Bone Pit into one Area.

These would already cut a bit of time you spend in Act 2

- Act 3 is mostly fine for me after the changes the devs did. Jungle
ruins into Infested Barrens into Chimeral wetlands and then Jiquani
could be a bit faster overall. Its a lot of searching around. Even if
you know the Layouts.

- Well Act 4 is a lot. Even if you only do necessary areas. Some can be
ignored its still a lot to go through. Kedge Bay/Journey End and
Shrike Island can be ignored. Volcanic warrens too, but u have to kill
the Blind Beast in the area before to get the 2 skill points.
- Ngakanu Island should only be one Zone not 2. Or well One zone and a
dedicated Boss area. Like you have with Keths Sanctum.
- Excavation could be smaller
- Solitary Confinement takes ages because of the massive slowdown you
get. Cool Mechanic, but should slow less. Or less frequently. Or
something else idk. Abandoned Prison was weird the first time, but
if do a second tiem i know what to do so its gonna be faster.

These should reduce the time you spend on act 4.

These are just my Opinions. If you reduce area size and remove some areas, mobs should give more exp tho.

I don't want a skip I think it would be bad for the game. However, if they did add it I would want it to be ssf only. I don't want to be forced to skip to be competative in trade.

I mena what you can do is give people in SSF the ability to skip and then they are locked into SSF for 1 Week. Until they will be able to swap over to the regular League. Not that i think that would be a ncie idea, but it would fix that issue.

Yeah, the campaign feels really really long. It felt much faster in previous seasons with cruel mode. Personally I don't mind ACT4, it's the interludes that feel like a total slog. There's one too many of them imho. I finished the interludes overleveled (level 68), and the waystones were dropping from the start (and I only died on bosses so it's not like I was overleveled due to monster respawn).

I'd love to try at least two more characters, however I just can't "force" myself to go through the campaign again. It is great as a one-time thing, couse the maps are beautiful, bosses are great, and I can see a lot of good work put into creating it. However a skip option or a quicker version for consecutive playthroughs would be awesome.

The skip should obviously be for consecutive plays each season, after the player finished the campaign once (like D4). That way it would not affect trade at all.
