Azmadi boss - 40 deaths

He enlarged my butthole by a large margin but it was fun.
I rather fight this guy 10 times then traveling another giant zone
1. Reflex check
2. Kill you offscreen
3. Too much damage, evade doesnt help
4. That is pre-map content, you don't have to have great gear, it just boring to farm gear to kill pre map boss.
5. This game new need new game director, current doesn't understand what is the difference betweeen challenge and difficulty.

5) yup, i was thinking the same thing today
1.194 life and 3.961 ES, went smoothly

The biggest problem is the boss of the citadel bosses. And what the hell does he do at the end of the story, closing the possibility of going to the maps.
And of course, any broken build passes it, simply crushing it with damage and ignoring the scenario that was so carefully built.
i gave up also got like 3 hours into trying to kill him leage dead by arrival

SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

I'm not noticing a difference. I fought him 5 times yesterday, and then 3 today after hot fix. He still one-shots from range with an insta-charge-smack attack.

I have 1340 life and 5423 armour. On top of that I have 10% physical DR from Encased in Jade.

For him to one-shot me, the hit must be >= 1911. This is from solving the following equation for X:

X * (1 - 5423/(5423 + 10*X)) * 0.9 = 1340

So he's popping off approximately 2k phys hits, with what feels like a small dodge window. If not a small dodge window, then I'd at least say "poorly telegraphed".

I guess this also shows why people complain about armour being weak. I'm only mitigating 22% of the hit with my armour. With the 10% PDR from jade, I'm mitigating 30%. Kinda bad considering how many +armour% nodes I've taken in the tree.

At least he is not Torvian, who basically invalidates any ailment build.
ok managed to beat him only after buying a 1600 armour chest piece from the marketplace to raise my total armour to 10500.
