Azmadi boss - 40 deaths

Guys, do some nerfs to that samurai guy. The boss itself is awesome, but i can't do much:

deadeye
1.8k hp
3k dmg

Every second spell is either 1 shot or 2-3 shots in a second. I really need to stop. Not a rant, but its discouraging

Get a Rhoa, laugh. That's how I did him... I experienced similar though. Trying to do this fight the "proper" way is a joke.
Repeating the same action 40 times without change and expecting a different result is some kind of madness, I think.
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fan-made fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.

Nope. I tried lowering DPs for evasion + deflect. I've tried the opposite as well. I've tried changing runes as well.
I am playing stormweaver with spark, and heavily rely on combo damage on bosses (via infusions).
It was hard fight but doable.
What might help:
- Hp flask with auto recharge
- 2.3k Hp/es pool (ele resistances don't matter since his dmg is mostly phys. So you can swap your armor for highest hp/eva possible)
- Find a proper window when to attack and don't hurry.
The best moment is when he casts the sphere around him and stays inside casting some sword slashes. That was a go-combo moment for me.
So my tactic mostly was running around, trying to dodge stuff as much as possible and casting rarely spells on him (no burst). When he casts his sphere - full DPS mode, and then repeat.

This boss clearly has too high DPS numbers. His attacks knock me down with 1-2 strikes. On top of that, he's fairly quick with his attacks. One bad dodge and I'm biting the dust, which is very frustrating. I haven't had any problems with any other bosses.

I am surprised you even made it to this boss with such low hp pool.. I had such amount in A3. I am sorc and I have 1220hp and 970ES when I first time reached Azmadi

During the campaign, I didn't have any major survivability issues. Sometimes I died, but only because of my own recklessness, and that was okay because I knew what the cause was - Heavy Stun during too long blocking. Resonating Shield enjoyer here.

I was just about to make a thread about Azmadi.

- Most of my deaths are from the charge. He does it at melee range, randomly, where melee characters have no chance to react!!!
- He teleports too far away and you can see what he's doing.
- He likes to get stuck along the southern wall instead of using his whole area.
- When you interrupt him when hes' doing his 10 swords circle, the sword are still there and block collision.
- All his abilites make him travel way too far. What do you want us to do, play with a zoom hack? We can't see the boss.

The boss isn't even too difficult per se. His abilities are just badly tuned. I usually get him to 20% with barely even using flasks.



But really, the melee charge is what kills me 9 out of 10 times. It's like they forgot to ban that move when the character is close.
