Yep. Bought premium for selling. Can't see any use otherwise.

Good for you. I listed in a previous reply some examples of how I use them outside of trading. But other examples are: A tab for potential crafts. A tab for gear for your next character, a tab for reforge potential. And just in general to have tabs in case you don't want to spend money on tabs you don't find worth getting, say if you don't want to get a flask tab for example.

It is a SWITCH to a different kind of tab entirely, not an upgrade.

I, in my excitement of getting async trade instantly upgraded all my tabs and now I can't play PoE 1 any more. Hope this post maybe prevents anyone else doing my mistake and give us some QoL regarding merchant tabs.

I see no reason why we should not be able to have affinity or accessibility to our tabs before act 4. Making the tab "marketable" should be an easy on or off option code wise and it not being that is just bad design imo.
