GGG has a Ben problem.

I agree
I always love the gatekeeping on "skill" as if it doesn't take skill to be as good as someone like Ben. If it were purely a function of time, then there would be a lot more Ben-type players. If it was as simple as just strategy, there would again be a lot of Ben-like clones doing the same thing.

It feels like folks projecting their insecurities about how they're not as good in this game, and as a result, this game doesn't count because it doesn't fit into their subjective and personal version of what gaming skill should look like.

In summary, GGG doesn't have a Ben problem. OP does.
Thanks for all the fish!

That is such a dismissive statement. It imply anybody can become a̶n̶ ̶O̶l̶y̶m̶p̶i̶c̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶m̶p̶i̶o̶n̶ Ben.

I am a master at Hong Kong Mahjong but would never win at Olympic.

I think you missed my point. My point was that Ben is exceptionally skilled, and acting like it's not skill to be as good as him because what he does somehow doesn't fit into someone's definition of skill is ridiculous gatekeeping.

Can someone explain what a "ben problem" is. I can't discern it from the op.

Most People just suck and they aren't Ben. People who insist it isn't a problem as they are exceptionally skilled and it doesn' affect them are REALLY SAYING IT ISN'T THEIR problem. It is just everybody else's problem.

There is nothing wrong with this game I guess. Except streamers who saying " this game suck" when they randomly die to one hit. Generally "gatekeeping" is seen as terrible, keeping people out of what they want to do. Gatekeeping doesn’t make POE a Good game, Blocking Access is Harmful. Maybe It is either Catering to the casuals would ruined this great game or this game suck. Maybe it's both.

Imagine being salty because a guy who literally plays POE as a job wins competitions again and again.

It doesn't matter what you nerf or change in the game, the dudes still gonna win. You can cry as much as you want, maybe instead you should do some 2 stone practice runs.

Looking forward to seeing you in the next competition, maybe you can design a new unique!
