Seriously - DELETE proximal tangibility

That's the thing I don't speak for myself. I try to give an objective feedback on things that don't make sense, not things that are 'hard'. PT doesn't make sense. You can't force a player to go melee if he wants to play range.

As far as I'm concerned, not a lot of things kill me =)

i answered your question and gave you a perspective of how true melee is very often forced to play ranged. not really commenting oh how logical that is.

edit: and yeah i imagine this single mod would be a block for screenesposion builds. like i mentioned earlier.

The problem with PT as it is now is that no damage at all is done at range. OF course some mods are challenging for melee.

PT should at least has a rework where the closer you are, the more damage you do, but if you want to stay distance you can, just kills the mob slower.

Right now it seems not rightly balanced.

For me it should be deleted all together but maybe a rework in that sense could be a more balanced solution
see I don't think deleting the only mod that gives trouble to OP builds is the answer. maybe give the mod some friends. the more the merrier i say.
I don't think it needs to be deleted, but they need to put SOME guardrails on the rare mob modifiers because some of the combinations they show up with are wild..
I think we should get an anti-proximital tangability based on the comments to this. Same effect, but unless you are 10 M or more away they are invulnerable.

Just so it's fair between ranged and melee.

This is a completely illogical mod. All Characters have their specificity and if there are ranged characters and melee characters it's for a reason.

We don't choose a ranged character to be obliged to go into melee. Like we don't do a melee character to be obliged to hit from a distance.

What's the point of this mod? Get more defences?

There are several situations where we need a balanced character without having to deal with a mod that goes AGAINST a gameplay we chose to play.

No... the mass want : All easy, copy builds, clear screen one button, no xp loss, no challenge, no nothing.

Why play POE2 then? Play a phone game. But CAREFUL in a phone game you will find challenges and probably no meta builds made by pros to copy. What then? Delete the phone game? uninstall poe2 and be done with it.

Geez. what a generation of whiners.

So, you know, wandering into melee with your squishy ranger is part of the gaming experience. Then getting oneshot and losing exp too. What a generation of whiners:)

1 - I don't play a ranger
2 - if you read my posts I don't complain that I can't deal with PT
3- this is a feedback regarding game design, not difficulty.
4 - if you think your reply is clever think again

5- PT is a detail like so many details that can be deleted, reworked enhanced
6- XP Loss is a CORE charateristic of the game
7 - Stop trying to change the nature of this game
8 -Instead try to make it more balanced so only skill will prevail and not bad luck

Running into rare mob who (together with map modifiers) completely counters your build is very much "nature" of this game. GGG wants us to keep randomly dying, and with combat being resolved faster and faster, we also die from full EhP to 0 faster than we can blink. Exp penalty just adds insult to injury in current state of both poe2 and poe1.

You cannot logically oppose BS combination on rares and timed/swarming content while at the same time adoring dying and death penalty.

Proximal tangibility is just one of rare modifiers a lot of people were complaining about. If you had melee build, you would've made thread about volatile plants.

Yes this is more my problem i run into sometimes. Some combo are so wild lol
Get PT with a damaging aura and eventualy haste on them.

Otherwise i dont really see PT as the most problematic mod really. And i play a bit all classes now.

Just turn around and dance with the monster =)

Omg....You get it all wrong mate. I don't adore dying, on the contrary. XP Loss makes you hate dying, so you figure out a way to not die.....If you have no xp loss you will 'love dying' because it won't affect anything.....

And again, all wrong about PT .I don't care about PT, I even stand melee with this and Temporal Bubble. I'm 99, almost 100. If I had a problem with this mod or anymod in particular I wouldn't have reached this level.

It's just an idiotic mod to me because it's ruining the very core of having at least 2 clear playstyle = melee and range. Maybe a rework like mentioned by me and others would be better than deleting it, but right now it feels stupid.

Regarding The plants : Well it got reworked, something was unbalanced about it and I'm glad for it.
