Please revert the SOLO play nerf !

Im not sure why the wording is so unclear. They speak of party balance followed by:

"Changed how additional party members scale the quantity and rarity of items the player finds.

We now drop +100% more of certain Item classes like Currency and Gold as they are valuable for all players, whereas items like Armour and Weapons scale at much lower amounts. The result of this is that when in larger parties you see less non-unique equipment, and more things you actually want.

We no longer increase Rarity per player in a party but we increase the number of Uniques specifically, this will result in the same number of Unique Items per party member as before."

Does the +100% more currency apply per extra player in a party or does it mean also solo players get 100% more currency drops?

I dont get their wording.

only party
So a 6 man group would have 600% more currency drops. Each adding a merc with 50% resulting in 900% more currency?

correct that means while they split the cost of map and juicing between 6 people. meaning scarabs and all... and while also enjoying easier time doing content while also using rarity stacker as support ...

they have a 900% multiplier on that investment which scale further with modes and stuff. ..

which result in party play ALWAYS being more profitable than solo

Yep.

It's pure garbage.
I watched the interview and was honestly surprised they agreed to let players bring all of their Mercenaries. I heard their reasoning for it, but imo it doesn't really hold because people are doing the exact thing already and Mercs (in my eyes) are supposed to solve the solo problem where you don't get access to that stuff if not in a party.

That's why almost every content creator that matters palys (hc) ssf

That's why every race that matters is (hc) ssf

Trade will never cater to a player that wants to play alone and wants to just get drops, all they have is easy access to their starting gear so they don't have to worry about using an orb for crafting ever.
Of course cooperative play/collusion angleshooting and what not will get you ahead in trade, i mean hello?

The game has a massive problem with base rate drops since Sentinel and their efforts to rein in MF and group play. Then they buff group play again and nerf MF on alters again, so solo play will be closer to base rate than juiced. This is what happens when a game lead plays an aura bot. So many W changes and QOL to then be self-centric in party vs solo balance.
I certainly won't "skip" or throw a fit, but I'm not amused that this was snuck in the patch notes at the last minute...
*Never forgetting how good this game looked at 32:9 instead of 1/3 of my screen being black bars.*
Since i assume there are certain thresholds of quantity were you start seeing locks/mirrors more frequently it does indeed sound like a solo farming nerf.
The titanic scarab got halved too in terms of quantity and the last minute quant nerfs to the other two scarabs cater into that idea too.

Edit: i never was a Sanctum farmer but from the feedback i saw it seems that Sanctum was a solo farm source for high end currency as well which got nerfed too. There is certainly a pattern visible.
