Need an advice from Cyclone professionals

Meh imo just have fun this league play what you want no need to nolife it or be super meta unless your doing the ssf hc race. Also you can probably just swap a different gem in and have a good build still if it doesn't work out.

Literally talked about that in every post lol. I said multiple times that Champion WILL be far tankier.....after you invest in Max Fortify. You cannot do that right away. Again...why I said START with Slayer. The max fortify you get from the tree is not going to make a meaningful difference in defense even with those multipliers.

If you are playing Slayer correctly, you will have the same fortify up all the time. By the time you get to endgame bosses when you might NOT during phases, you will have likely already swapped over to champion if higher defense was your goal.

All I said was that Slayer is the better EARLY choice because it has comparable defense, superior recovery, and far higher damage. Damage plays a crucial defensive role here too.


I have not once denied that Champion will have a massively higher defensive capability.....but LATER when you can gear it. At first, it starts almost equal to a properly played Slayer.
