3.26 needs massive meaningful balance changes !

i think they know the most playable attk/spells, and gear, if they take it thats because its good or op/broken, and if dont chose, thats because its not good or bad, so the new balance maybe nerf meta builds like always. So if u dont wanna waste ur time on meta stuff, try to be original, create new things, invent something, many people spend hours in the "pob" looking for something, and they find it, and they go there and make incredible builds.

lol......"half of the builds are non-functional". Ice Trap = 0.2%, Hexblast in TOTAL = 5%. And most of them are very functional, powerful builds. The actual amount of non-functional builds entirely there for purposes of power is practically negligible. They only represent a small handful of builds at the top of the ehp or dps numbers, which you can QUICKLY see at a glance how few they actually are.

You have no idea what you are talking about at this point. What you "consider to be" useless data, and what actually IS useful data are very different.

And you think popularity is WAY MORE INSULAR than it actually is.


You have a very singular view of what makes a build "powerful" and choose to ignore everything and anything that says otherwise. Unfortunately for you, that doesn't make you "right". It makes you ignorant of huge swaths of usable information and data. That likely doesn't matter to you in terms of game, but it certainly matters to public information in this public forum. And certainly for balance.

Dude, you are literally just considering one metric, POE ninja numbers and then mistakenly equate that to power. Don't talk to me about insular views. Your take is so ridiculously narrow and single minded it's not even worth discussing. If 14% of the people around you jump of a cliff you'd probably follow thinking it's the best thing you can do since everyone else does it as well.

Go ask one of your revered streamers if they agree with your take that Poe ninja popularity = build power and see what they'll tell you.

And here I was sure I saw plenty of streamers doing Titanic T17 on LS in Settlers. Should've gone to Specsavers, I guess...?

I NEVER SAID it was equal to build power, what I said was that it is a great INDICATOR of build power. These are not synonymous.

Data is taken and combined to form an overall picture. PoE ninja is USEFUL data to help determine what is and isn't powerful. Then you factor in the ubiquity in youtube videos, and the CONTENT of those youtube videos, along with self and reliable sourced demonstrations of that power. ALL OF IT determines a build's overall "outstanding" power and performance.

You don't get to ignore data just because it doesn't fit your box. Especially if you make generalizations.


"Precious Streamers": only a person stubbornly burying his head willingly into the sand would ignore that massive major source of PoE knowledge, in favor of ONLY his own. The collective hivemind is precisely what makes PoE so great. And the backward thought that they are somehow not deserving of your attention is why you make silly comments like the ones in this thread.

Obviously its not about blind trust, but its most certainly not blind ignorance either.

In a game that has hundreds of diffrent skills, if ANY of the skill is played by more than 1% of the playerbase, it means its power is far above the rest and should be nerfed. Let me say it again POWER. Not DPS. Not how fast it kills bosses. Its overall POWER.
