Would you guys (GGG) ever consider making it so that when you place a Waystone, you could choose from a few different map location options? For example, if a location on the Atlas is in a grass biome, the player could then pick from 2 or 3 map locations within that biome. Below is an example I made where you could select the map location by clicking on the name of the map you want.

" How do you not get it, after enough times being explained: Not a single person is bothered if it is legitimate feedback. But this forum is full of unconstructive, i-have-payed-for-this-game-and-therefore-i-want-that entitlement, absolute hate for GGG, complaining about the pace of updates, about ONLY-ONE-BUILD (which is still not true, even explained in the podcast). Not to mention the countless people complaining about poe1 updates on a poe2 forum, not understanding it's the same people working on 2 games, hence the slow pace. And yes, this has something to do with software-development, because these people don't understand the utter complexity of software-development, and that throwing more people on a problem/feature doesn't magically finish it faster. You yourself have said many people want poe2 to be poe1+. |

" This would be good. Some maps i just hate, and being forced to play them i just hate more. Even if it happened to be two "bad" maps, the choice of lesser bad would feel better. | |
There are some things about that interview which disappointed me:
A)Not having cross-weapon gem skills. I found this disappointing for several reasons. 1)We don't get enough gem slots to justify a two weapon load out build. By the start of Act 3 you are encouraged to specialize in one weapon type. 2)Not all characters will likely have access to nodes which improve weapon swapping. 3)Chasing uniques that allow cross-weapon play will make the game far to grindy and unfun because we don't have means of scalling the damage upwards so we can continue using it. While I can appreciate the fact that making cross-weapon skill gems during the EA might not be feasible because there is so much content to add and balance around characters and classes, GGG not being ok with allowing weapon skill gems to be shareable across two similar weapon types is very disappointing to me. B)The fact that end game won't get rebalanced so that we don't have to do Campaign on Cruel difficulty. |
