TalkativeTri's Podcast with Jonathan Rogers
What I cleaned from this is that ggg doesn't really care to listen to or interact with the community on the many issues that need addressing.

" no man, they supposedly "get feedback from everywhere", even the shitposts on reddit. they do listen, just don't care for most of it. |

" Sure thing, because it's so easy finding people who want to work as a gamedev and want to move to NZ. And what do you do with all those people if poe1 is no more? |

" They are doing it, but it is just taking longer than we would like. I am hoping they will have it finished by 3.26, as they mentioned something about once they have ported all items to POE 2, then they can work on WASD for POE 1. So I am keeping my fingers crossed... I also am hoping that I can play my Xbox POE 1 account on my PC (like I do for POE 2), and even better would be in there is cross-play or at the very least cross-platform. I will keep my fingers "crossed" :P Let's work together to make this world a better place :)

This was an amazing interview. I really like Tri's positivity and professionalism. Even at the end, when he pushes the Druid questions, you can see Johnathan and him jive and laugh together. I hope we see more!

Runing simultaneous operation of POE1 and POE2 is truly not a good idea. Especially considering GGG appears to be understaffed – for instance, the team responsible for BD balance can't effectively handle both games at once.
It seems GGG has heard the community's feedback and recognized recent issues. However, the fact that it will take months before a major update arrives is incredibly poor efficiency. Whether the problems will actually be resolved months from now, or what percentage of issues will be fixed, frankly remains unknown. Has POE1's success perhaps led GGG to overestimate its own capabilities? |

why not, SE can maintain ffxi and ffxiv plus launch new games, why shouldnt a small studio like GGG be able to support and maintain PoE and PoE2 once they get everything settled? they are learning to manage two games at a time, and its going to take them a little while to get the kinks worked out, but once they do I dont see any reason why they cant maintain both once they hit that point? are you saying that they dont deserve the chance to try and make things right, and that they should just abandon a project, just because they havent worked out exactly how to maintain two at a time yet?
