If you know anything about marketing you would know that bringing back old supporter packs would LOWER the amount of money GGG is making, not make it higher.

Its not the same situation, because unlike in LoL, where you have few "timed" skins and hundreds of normal skins, GGG has ONLY timed supporter packs. If people would know they can get skins from supporter packs whenever they want, less people would buy them. There is a reason FOMO is one of the most used marketing strategy ever.

And what does it have to do with suppprter packs? As for jellyfish portal - it was part of settlers league mystery box, so it will be in store once new mystery boxes will be releases in next league. Usually its after 3-4 months, but Settlers lasted for almost 8 months, not usual 3.

They aren't saying GGG has time-limited nothing other than supporter packs.

They are saying that GGG has no permanently available supporter packs; that the only supporter packs they do have are time-limited. Technically speaking, one could "well, ackshually" them with the First Blood pack - but it's a bit of a meme of a pack and I've never bothered buying it.

And what makes you think old supporter packs would bring more revenue than brand new ones? Supporter packs and "LoL skins" are completly diffrent things. Big chunk of playerbase buys supporter packs not for the cosmetics in it, but as a "thank you" to GGG for good work. They are buying them right at the start of new league (if they like new league, based either on few days of playing, or solely on trailer and reveal stream). Bringing old supporter packs wont make them buy another one. As for players who buy them for cosmetics? New supporter packs have way better looking cosmetics than old supporter packs, because GGG team got way better at their job over time.

Thinking that old supporter packs will bring more revenue "because in LoL exclusive skins sold well" is just silly (to not use harsher words)
