Patch 0.2.1 New Crafting Socketables Preview

One of the issues that we have with the socketable crafting system at the moment is that by the time you get to the endgame there isn't really anything new or exciting to find to socket in your gear. Resists and attributes are great to help with solving problems in the early game, but in the endgame, ideally you should be swapping all of these out for more interesting and powerful mods.

In 0.2.1 we are adding 22 new Runes, 14 new Soul Cores and 7 new Talismans. These cover a full spectrum from being powerful to insane, but are rare to find. You will certainly want to use them over the normal base set of socketables.



You was tired to changing not the one item in the build but almost all of them because we have worst crafting system humanity could possible made?

Well, don't worry guys, we've heard your feedback and just added +5% movement speed for boots and some completely trash runes that no one will ever use.

So, +5% movements speed is now required for every single build in the game because characters itself slow as hell.

How it will change the situation when one piece of gear leads to change over part of your gear to cap res or attributes? It supposed to?

I mean, they've just didn't do anything about the problem they mention and just added some more trash items in the game. I don't know how it should fix the problem

And here we are two months in and NOT A SINGLE MENTION OF FIXING SPECTERS... not a single mention of class balance... not a single mention of fixing 80% of the utterly useless skills... Look it's pretty clear you are only developing one of your games at a time. POE2 exists only because poe1 took a year off... now we are months without any real work done on Poe2 so you can have some mediocre season for a 10 year old game... dumb dumb dumb.

blizz went greedy mode with diablo immoral why d4 no matter how good or bad it is was doomed to succeed. poe2 went down the same path trying to get people to buy stash tabs then oh this other stingy stash tab etc.. corporate greed has no place in the gaming community.

with that said, people need to realize poe2 is no where being the best MMORPG of all time especially if they cant un do the stupid shit show stun locking they have done. and dont say do an energy sheild build.. that is just partial amount of builds out there.

It sounds scary that developers needs 6 months to finally find and mention the problem with gear swap, 2 weeks of developing the "solution" and the only one thing come to their mind for almost 7 months is this crap.
Granted its just a teaser, but the problems remain

- stat stacking builds are still (FUBAR)
-STUN LOCKS ARE (FUBAR)
-uniques are mediocre at best on the most part for alot of them.
- some swarm monsters are absolutely stupid.
- other monster mobs are absolutely (FUBAR) stupid.
- devs or management has no way of connecting to actual players as they dont even play the game and it shows making this (FUBAR)
- minions are still subpar making people wanting minions builds kind of (FUBAR)


LE has better stuff. even stealing their shit and you still have a (FUBAR) game.
Thank Doryani you did not remove the crafting bench from poe1 to add some scuffed options as socketables and shove a dedicated stash tab down people's throats.

Oh,wait.

Let's not forget you released a mapping system with no map stash tab available to force people into buying more stash tabs.

Horticrafting options as "stacketables" when? And how much would that stash tab cost?

Why not simply make movement speed an implicit in boots and scale them with the level of boots?

Why is it a modifier since it's so important any boots without them are null and void?
