A second main focus is that we're going to increase the variety of running Endgame Maps.


Me personally don't wanna see variety of endgame maps. Almost all layouts just bad and it feels more worse because we haven't movement abilities. Give me the opportunity to farm map that I want to farm. It's not a problem for people to farm one map for thousands and thousands time if they want to farm one special map.

It feels bad also because of "vision" for Tower mechanic. First, you need to setup your towers to overlapping maps to get the juice and if your farm mechanic (breach for example), not working with map in towers radius - it's just a waste of time. And it's just impossible to find the map area where at least 3-4 maps in radius are the exact you needed and where you feel's comfortable.

You've just made problem with this atlas from nowhere, make all the atlas covered with fog of war and maps layout rolled on waystones. So, people that want to see variety - will be ignoring layout roll, people that want to see one map - will see it, it's simple.
I didn't think we needed more rewards since the changes, alas that's nothing to complain about.

Glad to see things that are under the hood being adressed, hope in the coming months and content patches that more builds will emerge and allow for build diversity rather than ''please follow the build guide'' that skillgems and supprtgems have as restrictions, things like Heralds being only Martial Weapons feels off and the fact melee skills are restricted by weapon type while everyone and everything can use spells is off.

I don't want spells to be restricted, I want melee skills to open up, even if mace skills can only work with things like axes and swords which are the basic weapon types I wish we had instead of spears and quarterstaffs.
You forgot to release a couple of paid tabs
I still wonder how GGG calculate monster elemental penetrate.

Pen 25% feels like 50% and pen 25% + 30% extra elemental damage feels like I have 0% elemental resist.

Overnuking the game, patch it to something that is halfway playable just to nuke it with the first big patch into even less of fun just to take over a month to hyper slowly raise things to a degree that playing the game MIGHT feel at least somewhat rewarding and yet somewhere in between there are yet other hyper nerfs that then get re-raised...

Just friggn stop overnerfing everything to the ground.
That is nothing about being challenging but just being a sad experience.

Simple casual players that can not invest 6+ hours each single day are never going to have proper fun.

It's just sad to see that you manage to currently to drive 2 games into the wall.


aaa not true. I play only 1 hour per day and I do have fun. Now if the same was jsut erasing white mobs in one click, I would nto have fun at all. FUN DEMANDS engagement! Otherwise it is just dopamine like from smoking.


Everyone's fun is different and the fact you are having it doesn't make others are wrong because they aren't enjoying it.
Looking to get a ''soulslike'' experience from this game is like expecting blight to be a proper tower defence mechanic like the games which are dedicated to that genre.

And if you want engangement, there's others games that fill that need much better, go play Marrow, no minimap, checking your health pool is a limited resource and if you die, you will respawn at the last save point and have to pick up all the items you've picked up all over again. Forgot to mention it's a metroidvania game.
Enganging to you is fighting each white mob pack like it's a proper fight, others don't think so and would rather experience that in a boss fight and not the weakest type of enemies the game has to offer.

True, fun is relative but he said It is NOT fun. He is denying that someone could have fun with a few hours per day. So your post in fact agrees with me.

In fact why don't you follow your own advice and go look for other game? Why Your view is the one that should be valid and not mine? I can also give you pointers to low engagement activities if you want, a career in accounting is a good one... imagine being paid to do something you love.. clicking without paying attention on what you are doing.

Ritual

Ritual also suffered from us pitching the chase rewards too rare as well.

We're making the rarer Omens from Ritual more common. You'll see the same number of Omens, but they have a significantly higher probability of being the rarer, more exciting ones.


4th time now? Surely this time they will be common!
Players : Runes suck and they are so much worse than the crafing bench in poe1

GGG: We are adding 10 million runes and 10 vigilion soul cores.
