Upcoming Plans for Patch 0.2.1

Great patch like always! However, dont expect that everyone here has played POE1 or understands what ''just like it used to be'' means.

Regarding the below paragraph. Does this mean that using the advanced item details we will now have all the tiers in decending order so we can quickly see the lowest and highest tiers? OR
Does this mean that Tier 1 will now represent the highest and T11 will be the lowest?

''A huge request has been that we invert the display of "Tier X" on items when using advanced item display. This is so that you can immediately identify if a modifier is the best it can be on an item. This is more for advanced and Endgame players, but is very important to being able to quickly assess the true power of an item or if it's an appropriate crafting base. We are swapping this back to work the same way as Path of Exile 1.''

Yes, in PoE 1 you can think of tiers on an item the same way as youd think of the leaderboard of some sorts, number 1 is always on top and whatever else is on the bottom. That way you can look at any rare item in the game an instantly see how "close" you are to the top (number 1) on any mod tier. The best tiers are always number 1 regardless of how many there is. Thats why PoE 1 system is just better. Some items can have like 14 tiers and some only like 6, and because of that you could not tell whats the max tier of any given mod in PoE 2 without looking it up somewhere. Now we can just look at any item and see if its good or not

Nobody care about lowest tiers. Now you go on trade or "craft" something, see/get T3 and immediately know how far away you're from best possible tier. At the moment you get T7, you know T1 is worst but because different affixes have different ranges you won't know if best is T8 or T11. So after patch you get T7 and you know you're far away.

Also browsing trade you see high value item with like T6 but is worth those divines? Let's check poe2db and see what's tier range, maybe it's overpriced. Instead now you see all T2 and T1 tiers and you know high price is justified.

"We've just spent six years making expansions for path of exile, so imagine if we released path of exile 2 and it was just a bare campaign with none of that extra content. This would be a sad shell of an action RPG compared to the current state of path of exile."

Well tbh there should just like any other games a compare highlight for tiers or score power for an item to simplify things for average players.

Like when I hover the mouse over the item I shouldn't be clicking alt to show the tiers and other hidden information.

This information should be visible to straight to the eye. Tons of improvements can be made in this area.

So mostly endgame changes for those that can actually reach that stage... Then:

1. What about the people that are stuck in the acts due to access to poor gear from Act 2 and on?

2. What changes were made, if any, when trying to buy from the Market and getting a decline on the "order"/whisper due to a language barrier (mainly China)?

3. Will the Market be regulated as in other MMO games?

- the player should be able to sort it to his/her continent or the market language must always be ENGLISH instead of different languages;

- why prices upon contact with the client/player change?! Example: from 1 Exault on the "Market" upon trading in the game is 10, more or even a Devine (drops much later than the standard Act2).

4. When will the speed of skill activation animation of bosses match the player's fps? It is rare for others and me to see the act bosses and mob attacks in some cases => leads to untimely death.

5. Will, if ever, support gems have their stats as if level 10 (mid range) at least, instead of been the basic level 1? The game is a 100 times harder in 0.2 due to how you changed the supports and some skills GGG. This made some of my friends leave permanently, yet it was a daunting effort/task to introduce them to this game.

6. Why touch the base league and update it to 0.2, if you don't plan on updating it with the Hunt league patches? It ruined the game for the casual player, including myself. For a reference - I was unable to reach Act 2Red before you updated the game. Then what about the people that never plaid PoE and were learning at their own pace?! Why do this woke move on us

Man if you havent been able to get through past act 2 you have much bigger problem than trade even after the campaign buffs. You should be able to finish campaign with little to no trading. The others have been begging more endgame content/change/qol since 0.1.

PS5 specific change: Please make it so party names don't hide Map Modifiers! I'm tired of asking my party members what the map modifiers are!
0.3 by the end of 2025? 1.0 by...2032?

We are also lowering some of the more dangerous map modifiers, like Elemental Penetration to be more in line with others, improving the rewards and visibility of Omens in the Viridian Wildwood unique map, increasing the radius to open Clasped Hands in Breaches, reducing the pack size of the Bats that shotgun you with projectiles in the Twisted Domain and reworking the Curse Map Mods to have counterplay. These are just some of the more isolated improvements coming.

Big MISS to not delete everything about temporal chains modifiers, 99% of players will just autodelete or vendor this filthy thing. Game is slow as it is already.

Except for that, really appreciate all good changes coming. Lookin forward to that! Im sure POE2 will be the best game with such a good team behind it.

thanks for making new patches in poe 2 (personally i don't care about POE1)
