Oh get of your high horse. You payed for packs, you got their contents. Your transaction with GGG ended right then and there and they owe you nothing.
That's not how GGG's funding works. These packs are called "SUPPORTER packs" because they are used to support the development, and the content in them is GGG "thanking" the supporters for doing so.
You can spin it however you want to fit your narrative but it specifically says what you get for your "support" and you get it. So unless you didn't get something that was stated in the description of the pack, you got what you payed for and it's up to GGG to spend that money how they want: raise wages, to develop something to please you, try creating something else etc.
the truth is... you can spin it however you want to fit your narrative.. but at the end of the day. .. the vast majority of GGG income and that includes the money required for poe 2 and for the constant "patches" during 0.2 is from us Loyal poe 1 players who still gives GGG some trust and credit which they built with us in the past years.. . when poe 1 feel screwed bad enough and stop supporting ... you will beg them to support again becuse you would get 0 poe 2 content

Isn't it just so very easy to make bold claims with confidence when you know that anyone who wants to argue against you will have the same amount of data and evidence that you had to make the claim in the first place which is absolutely not any at all?
Like once again I genuinely don't understand the long game with you guys. You constantly make these bold, sweeping proclamations when you know full well everyone reading your post will know that you have absolutely no way to know whether what you're saying is true.
I won't make any claims one way or the other, but what I will say is that IF the vast majority of GGG's revenue were still coming from PoE1 diehards, then their decision and announcement during 0.1 to reallocate resources to the sequel makes very little sense. The only way that decision does make sense is if the early revenue numbers on PoE2's launch made it very clear to them (and Tencent) that PoE2 was a more reliable source of revenue for them moving forward.

Vote with your wallets folk. Works like a charm every time! ... maybe a "Charm" aint the best in this case since charms in PoE2 are utter ...
Lets say: Works like Unwavering Stance node in PoE1.

what money is building poe 2 ? its already having less player than poe 1 even when the steam has the chinese players included .. .
my self despite my very negative opinion of PoE 2 that i think its ......... i still bought the poe 2 core packs like 4+ times to share beta keys .
and people who play 1 patch and leave are not the money either. .. meanwhile you have poe 1 players who been supporting the company for 11 years now. . with support packs basically every 3 months and just so you know the poe 1 still supporting GGG with the poe 2 packs... the reason is because we still want to have that trust in GGG which they really earned over the years.

Bruh... GGG's poor decisions, that don't make sense, are a poor argument.
Furthermore, if you think that PoE2 made it clear to them to be a more reliable source of income... idk how to tell you... but that's bonkers.
PoE2 EA had paid access and only 5 months of "income" to show, compared to the income of PoE1 with more data than a quarter and a half.

its mind blowing that people who are new here think they know how GGG developed!
GGG unlike blizard are not quick cash grabbers altho poe 2 early access does look that way.. but atleast to me and i know that its the case for many others. .. supporting GGG is about trust. . and it is a trust that they actually and rightfully earned by being a great company great developers that for most part kept their promises . . its that sensitive trust that even when something is wrong or not fun we always trusted them to make it better and fix it.. so we continued to support even during bad leagues or patches.. because we knew its ok GGG gonna fix it and they always did ! even early in poe 2 i came in with really open minded tried to love the game ... i kept supporting and kept rebuying the 480 and 240 usd packs over and over to share keys. . when that trust is broekn and players dont view GGG to be the same company that they always have been .. . im sure they would regret it. maybe they sold alot of EA copies but right now player base of poe 2 is smaller than poe 1 and many of them still probably will quit. .

As I remember Blizzard was one of industry leaders and one of best if not the best company at one point. They also loved their playerbase. They also listened to feedback. They also had players in first place when developing games. So what happened? And you think same thing cannot happen to GGG?

it can happen to GGG but then goodluck for GGG raising money if they go that road.. they only have 2 games neither of them is popular and poe 2 (mind you when they dont really listen to feedback) is even less popular than 11 years old poe with its 1 usd worth of graphic
