I agree. But they are not making game that speaks to the 1 million players... that is the problem.
if we take recent Steam reviews only 36% of reviews are positive. And also in Steam you cannot just click "Dont like" button you have to write a review (you can click "like" button). So actually 36% maybe optimistic.
So... only 36% of 1 million people like the game. Your player base dropped big way. If so many people don't like... that means impact on economy, impact on trade options, etc... a cycle that makes for average Joe or Jane even harder to engage ...
If you think you know so well maybe you should apply for a job at GGG.

I hope so. I want those who enjoyed POE 1 to have their game and those who enjoy POE 2 to have their game as well. hell i want every video game to have a thriving community that loves and supports the devs.
