So, how long till the trend will change ?
Maybe never. Not really important though, because I think PoE 2 was already a fiscal success. The thing that matters now is not the reviews, but the quality of the game. Which I am sure the devs are working on rn.
And if that's done, I am sure reviews will become more positive again.
That's what early access is all about, gathering player feedback, through reviews and public opinion, in order to improve the quality of the game.
If they correct course by addressing the common concerns that are almost universally shared at this point, then the reviews will reflect this.
If however they double down and continue to push their vision against the tide of public opinion? reviews will progressively get worse until a point where it is no longer financially viable to keep the lights on.
No one wants the game to fail, except perhaps the extreme minority who continue to play down the problems, talk over those with concerns, and push the illusion that the game is in a good state right now.
That's not what early access is about.

Fire skills are all amazing (minus incinerate, as it requires you to just really only use that skill and stand in one place too much)
Flame wall
Fussilade
Solar orb
Flameblast
Firestorm
Fireball*
All amazing skills and do good damage.
Early on though? Pffft are you kidding me? Run through a zone, fire wall afk, Ember Fusilade bosses.
Going out of town with Flame Wall it will take like 10s to kill white mobs. How is that "amazing"?
My mace warrior was 10 times as strong as the fire witch I tried to make. Without some arcane knowledge. My crossbow char melts everything in the campaign. Fire skills though? Could not make them feel even remotely good. If putting everything into damage and getting +6 on spell levels isn't enough to blow up groups of white mobs then something is wrong.
But I guess everybody just lacks your massive intellect and there's actually nothing wrong with the game at all. The reason 0.x% play fire spells while over 50% play Lightning Spear is just that they all lack you super-human IQ.

I understand why people are upset and if GGG keeps being stubborn about their direction at same time as PoE1 gets this little attention then I fear for their future. Most new players don't understand the "vision" and for good reasons. Going for "Early Access" term was probably a big mistake since the term has so many meanings/uses and unless people have experienced the Larian approach to EA they expect very different things than what they got.
I don't know how the situation can be salvaged. I just hope my favorite game PoE1 doesn't disappear due to the decision making.

POE 1 has a new league starting in June...as been announced by GGG for 5 weeks or so.
GGG has also talked about what they want POE 2 to be like about 400 times in the past 5 months. Pretty much everyone and their mother knows the vision and direction of the game.

just ignore hyper he love the game but wont admit its not good enough to actually play. so he just sits here and puts down people who have issues with the game. occasionally he acts like a actual human being, you know when he feels like it. helps him cope.

im literally logged in and playing right now genius lol I check the forums when I need a break cause I run 2-3 maps and chill for a bit
