Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On

The fact that you can not rebind/remove the skills granted by using items should be revisited. I don't want to have to scroll a whole page to get to see my actual skills and to be able to add/remove skills in my skill inventory page.

Spear throw/stab, parry/raise shield if you use a shield and their counterparts for the alternate weapon slot take 8 skill slots that are shoved in front of the actual skills I'm using.

Don't get me started on the damage numbers.
How is it possible that the default skills that come with equipping weapons of any kind do more damage unlinked as opposed to the actual skills I'm using?
In what world do you see players using what is basically auto-attack to clear content?
What player would appreciate seeing and comparing numbers between skills granted by equipping items and the actual skills granted by skill gems and supports and the disproportionate damage numbers shown?

About the patch.

Huntress is going down the generator/spender route. This is not diablo 4 in case you forgot what game you're developing. Also having to do a 3 button combo to scratch a white monster's health is a glaring design flaw.

Having advertised smith of Kitava and not have it as an option to ascend certifies that you do not test or play the game you're developing.

Having constant crashes regardless of zone, mtx, or the alignment of the planets is starting to get annoying. Nothing changed in the specs of my rig so it's you.

Having the cinders background with the loading cogs be the actual image during a boss fight (happened twice on Jamanra) should not have passed qa. Happened both in party and solo.

How is it possible that if I die in a zone I get to be greeted by the cinder/cogs and sit and stare at my monitor up to 4 minutes and 22 seconds (Yeah I timed one of them) when I re-spawn at the last checkpoint?

After last night's crashes and rollbacks I doubt anything you wrote in the post I'm replying to is true.

0.2 is a huge disappointment and in many cases more than 2 steps back towards what your game should be.

Why you need to be "Working on it" ?!?!?!

Just REMOVE the patch from standard league and all problems are solved. You can test your worst ever released patch in the DawnHunt extension and working on it.

The builds are still useless, hours of gameplay in the bin and cannot play the game!
As a rather Casual Player, I really enjoy the Patch so far and think the difficulty is fine. Having no troubles anywhere so far (Act 3 Apex of filth-ish)

Playing huntress with parry and lightning spear. But when rushing through larger campaign Maps, i just Spam lightning spear, which works just fine - Feeling no need for buffs here.

Dont buff the huntress too much - thx.

im really worried and i dont think this will be close to enough.

Like others post before, minions were not overpowered before the patch, now they
are dying 1 Second after they spawned (in boss fights), its nearly impossible to use them.
A small correction wont help and espacially in endgame... where you dont intend to buff them... that makes no sense to many players, myself included.

Minions always where on of my reasons to play ARPG. If you wont buff them to atleast clpse to (pre 02 -level) i dont see myself playing much longer.
Its not fun if we have to wait 60 seconds till my 5 minion mini army is able to kill white campaign trash.

Well .. i played both, minions and curses (chaos witch).
How to play with a single or 2 mob hit curse and wait for it to spread, if the monsters ( even white ones) swarm me in about 2 seconds.
Before my chaos spread, im dead or pumping health potions like crazy.
THis is not working.

I heard many players talk about different skills, like hexblast is dead, spark is dead, so many things dont to enough dmg to clear low end maps.
For me the conclusion here is that i should stop grinding to campaign when endgame will be this punishing. (and no, i like to fight hard, i like somme difficulty, but not this)
if so many high level skills are ""useless"" there is somethingt wrong, not with this or that skill, no... its wrong accross the board.
Your balancing gone horrible wrong.

This is not engaging content, this ist not fun gameplay.
ARPG is fast fights, becoming stronger and stronger, searching for harder maps, getting better and faster.
This is dead.


Please Team of ggg, give us the fun back, i rly want this game to be successfull.

Of course they played the game.. that’s part of being a dev. They just don’t want Poe2 to feel like Poe.

I imagine they went into A3 zone. Spent 20 minutes in one instance, finally found the way and said “Yep” that took the right amount of time!

The game devs that had to endure the campaign with every race and class, and endure the Grindy slow movement must be very patient people. Or they slipped on some move speed boots while they tested other things.

Who asked for parry in a game like this?? It doesn't make any sense GGG doesn´t even know why parry in souls games makes sense but will never work here. Ffs if you want to create a souls game just make a new game.
