Player Minion Damage and Life
One of the areas of major balance adjustment in 0.2.0 was the minion life and damage curves for players. In the 0.1.1 endgame, minion characters were getting very out of control values mostly due to being able to significantly increase gem level on these gems.

We previously significantly reduced the growth of minion life and damage as these gems gain levels, and the intention was to mostly hit the top of the endgame, but it seems that this had an unintended effect on campaign play as well.

We are making a change to increase the damage and life that minions get during the campaign to be more similar to before, while still keeping the scaling nerfs that were introduced to the higher minion gem levels for the endgame.

That is great but please, test your game before deploying anything. Just make an a new character and play it from lv1.

Also, it is ok to let us feel powerful when playing, i promise no one is gonna get mad because players are having fun blasting through the game. That's what been happening in PoE1 and everyone loves it !

I believe you need to create a new website with its own forum for Path of Exile 2.
This doesn't even feel like a game anymore.
Every corner of potential fun has been shaved away.
It's software made by people who don't use it themselves.

Was a good ride for a while there. Doesn't seem salvageable at this point given the commitment to doing whatever this is.

what a joke of a company
So, lets get the issues noted one by one, shall we?
1. For warriors, when leveling, their only real option is auto-attacks... the skills available to us have such ungodly attack times that if we try to use them, with us being in melee range almost always, we get chain stunned...
2. The areas feel too large because of 2 separate issues:
a. The player speed is basically at a level where it feels like we are crawling, specially for a player used to poe1 gameplay... Meanwhile, the mobs are still playing poe1 and mobbing us at mach5 and killing us quickly...
b. If we kill some of the mobs, and then end up dying without having reached the next checkpoint, the progress is basically reset since the loot that dropped is gone, the mobs that we killed respawn and we are sent back to the previous checkpoint... So its no longer even viable to progress by throwing my corpse at the monsters over and over... Guys... news flash... if I wanted to play HC, I would have chosen HC... let me just progress...

For the most part, if you want people to be able to enjoy the lore of the game, something only doable in campaign, the players should be in the right mindset for it... if they are overwhelmed with rage due to the above mentioned things... well, no one is gonna give two shits about the lore or enjoy the story, let alone enjoy the gameplay...
What? Fixing Minions only in Campaign?

Minions in White/Yellow Maps have super little hp as well. And the Spectre that may have a bit more hp to stay actually alive, bug ALL THE FUCKING TIME in wisp mode... comeone guys
The large area part is so mindblowing, no I don't want a god forsaken checkpoint, the game feels bad even with a build that one shot things, I want movement speed so I don't waste 10 min going from left to right looking for the damn exit

Omg the fact people are going to this video from 3 year old’s comment section is insane. . This gameplay looks so fun!! Look at how cool the huntress looks with those long dashes and mobility!!!


They definitely need to take a step back and listen to the community. Hopefully the devs wont be stubborn.
