I feel like PoE2 is having an identity crisis.

It doesn't want any of the things that made PoE fun, but wants it to have the PoE name. I mean, even the trail PoE 2 took from replacing PoE and being an upgrade, to then being an expansion, to then being a sequel, to being it's own unique game is very telling of the direction. That being every which way but good.

I have supported the game for a long time, but until PoE 2 sees a therapist and gets it's schizophrenia under control, I can't in good conscience give any further monetary support to any PoE.

This actually makes so much sense… and one logical explanation. I’ve seen it happen in other games and there are definitely parallels. . Maybe funding is running low to be honest,

I hope that with minions, you also mean spectres, right?

Currently spectres that cost 100+ spirit cannot kill a white monster. In fact, 3 of them cannot kill a same level white monster. Sure, there are exceptions, but the vast majority is useless compared to regular minions, even in the state minions are currently in.

And i hope you also mean companions as well..? We are currently using them as mobile totems to give us haste... Their cost is fine, in fact, you can make the % reservation a bit higher. But the tradeoff should be a viable playstyle that focuses on your companion s. You are sacrificing a ton of skill points getting them fully built. The playstyle should reflect that.

It makes me so sad that POE 1 died for this. pacing is so slow 99% of all spells feel terrible. thanks for saving me money on supporter packs.

Guess if you guys keeping like this, I think you will manage to destroy both PoE1 and PoE2...this post and last patch experience made me not want to play both games anymore...at this point i'm waiting for Last Epoch update. WTF is happening, for real ?
