Not enough nerfs imo, as a ruthless player I believe we need a ruthless mode here in POE2. Let the kids/redditors have a brainless mode.

For many players, the fun of the game lies in the spammy one-button kills. Also, why do you care how easy the game becomes for certain players? Just avoid looking up broken YouTuber builds, and it will remain challenging for you. Don’t seek out ways to make it easier. To achieve those spammy one-button kills, you need higher levels, it’s not like someone who just bought the game can do that right away. It takes many hours of gameplay. Besides, there’s no PVP, so why does it matter if the game is easy for some players?


If you want Spammy one button build dont play POE 2 and Play POE 1 , its clear by the design team that they dont want One button playstyle in POE 2. We POE players have been accustomed to play simple button or 2 at best gameplay style .That's why they want us to '' forget evrything we know''. I foresaw these nerf and these change since i started playing. I played different characters with different one button build and i reflected on the design of the game and said well better play it now cause it sure aint gonna happen again. Of course i want to spam spam thank you bam. thats Power fantasy, but alas combo style and riveting gameplay is the focus of POE 2 and isnt comptible with that mentality. If they wanted to have the same thing happen theyw ould have made a completly new game.

i get that they want a new slower game, but they wont ever have that, they dont know how to balance the game, its an arpg and theyve already shown us it can go fast, it will continue to go fast like every arpg of the last decade. they will nerf, new builds will emerge, they can nerf, repeat. there will always be one button win builds, that move fast. i cant think of an arpg since d1 that hasnt moved fast and exploded screens. if they want that they should switch to a different genre. if they could make meaningful game play, that was slow, calculated, but rewarding i am down, but sadly theyd have to remake the game from the top down for that. even ruthless winds up getting fast paced eventually. it also seems as though they are the only ones pushing for this new style of arpg, along with a handful of others, like i said id be down, but tried and true usually wins over trying to go backwards to games that moved slow like in the 90s.

As a ruthless enjoyer myself I won't be logging in until Phrecia finishes...because ruthless is more fun than PoE2.
Only 3 microtransaction armor sets being made available...

At this rate we wont even have them all for launch.

i kinda get build nerfs, especially meta ones, maybe these were too popular, and noone wants to explore another mechanics?
but don't get why nerf other build? just to squezze those players out of comfort zone? force them to play Huntress? i thought some skill should be buffed, but they got nerfed too

So GGG forces player to new challenges with slow, thouthful gameplay? like no hit Sekhema? or Arbiter of Ash, who drops 2 fire bombs on opposite sides of arena? hundreds of mobs in breach? that's not really setup for thoughtful gameplay, no player able to track what dozens of monsters do in front of him, so he spam skills and rolls, same with bosses - there is no challenge other than DPS check

Unique's nerfs like Ingenuity - are obvious, there is no alternative for such belt, AND there'll be noone even after patch, all belts and their affixes and suffixes are bad and not interesting
(i agree with idea that charm slots should be passive or cut like gem slots)
but to get previous maxed Ingenuity you have 1/40 chance for +80%, now to get maxed Ingenuity for +30% to rings only - you need 1/100 chance + you can get debuffs on top of that = more grind, more divines, higher prices
more spread for Morior Invictus - like spirit was +40-60, now it's 24-60, any rare body armor could have up to +61 spirit, but it worse now for the glory of the eternal grind

it's not just nerf to builds, it's nerf to gameplay time
still no ingame item filter configuration, no endgame map search or map sequences, timeconsuming T16 map crafting (i simply got tired of corrupting hundreds of T15 maps)
you need to go throu game campaign for each new char again and again, even if you complete it in that particular league

thanks for hating warriors in particular (seems bosses had stat armor penetration, just to mess up with those guys)

ok, i get it all will be left in EA upon release, so we're just a bunch of testers, but please, respect our time too
