Absolute DOGS!#T patch. They literally nerfed multiple things that were crap to begin with lmao. Last Epoch here I come. GGG out of touch with their player base - and you can tell based on their response when they were asked about changes to the way trade functions.

Yeah, EVERYONE gets what they deserve! Unfortunately... instead of happily grinding PoE2, all that's left is checking the Steam charts once a week and wondering why a good game is being deliberately run into the ground. And before anyone says "just wait and see"... nah, I'm not even downloading this nerf-fest. Wasted time :(

You didn't read the patch notes.

Every meta build is nerfed - spark, archmage, trampletoe, heralds, tempest bell, attribute stacking, freeze.

You probably didn't notice that Grim Feast is completely gone from the game.

And now we have warrior ascendency that will probably be immortal.



I tested es gaming withour grimfeast. Still stronger multiple times than life builds. Meta got nerf, but not so strong, it's delusional without tests. But i know what is weak, and it still weak, due ggg don't listen
Any plans to fix the "Potential" support gem bug, that makes it work with skills triggered from items, when it explicitly states: "Supports Skills that you use yourself."?

People are going to abuse it with Choir of the Storm and rapidly firing crossbow skills on amazon with Infusion and I don't want the spears to be nerfed on week 1 because of crossbow skills abusing a bug unrelated to spears.
You can just try a new build, you don't have to have a public meltdown because the build (that you copied anyway) got nerfed.
Am I crazy or did they not do anything to the end game cross bow skills siege cascade, cluster grenades terrible underwhelming skill in terms of visual and damage and how they work. The new tactician skill is what siege cascade should be, and cluster grenades is not fun at all. The regular grenades more fun, should just change cluster to ice grenade or something.

Armor is good, people are just extremely bad at making armor builds because they gave up when Kripp made his (incorrect) video.

I got 40k armor witchunter on 1 week, and tested 20k armour with 7k ward shield, don't tell me that i hate armor only cause of Kripp opinion. You are mistaken, check game and not only youtube

Please GGG give us even more nerfs and weird design choices. The sooner people stop playing the sooner this horrible management is gone.

You just can't introduce this game in EA with no endgame, no crafting and infinite power and keep that for months and then go back to your original plan of painful combat. You nerf everything including loot and then keep your horrible endgame design. Great job /s

And just to give an example so that people understand.

Archmage was defining most spell-based builds on its own. It was so strong you could hardly make a non-channel build without Archmage. It was using a slot in the damage calculation pipeline that is hardly used by anything else, at very little cost, and providing a ABSURD level of damage in that slot. Making it impossible to play without.

Thus, it was destroying the whole spell builds ecosystem. It was just bad design, period.

Is the nerf good ? I'm not a big fan of the game design choice here (I dont think it really solves the issue) but it is infinitely better than before.

Jewels ? It was an endless source of gamebreaking options, as it is. From a game design pov, jewels are a complete hazard. Big source of fun but also giant hazard. Is it a good solution ? Probably not, but at least it's addressing the issue.

You complain about some things that are weak and that are being nerfed.
> are you sure those things were weak right now ? Most of them are currently really fucking strong (like hexblast and blasphemy) they were just being eclipsed by the dominating builds for X or Y reason.

How do you expect to make ANY informed guess on whether a nerf is good or bad without having the whole picture ? Most bad builds are one unique away to being game changing, meta defining. For all you know, one of the things you think is "underpowered and STILL GOT NERFED" will STILL be the best build tomorrow.

By complaining without having neither the support runes nor the uniques nor the new damage numbers of each skill, you're all just looking like giant fools.
