I hate to say this but - It's boring.

I think a lot of players now consume content as fast as humanly possible and miss the point of enjoying the journey. Of course it's boring to catch the carrot, that's not supposed to be the point. If your goal is to burn through all the content and "beat" the game as fast as you can... well it's always going to be disappointing.

I've noticed that it doesn't seem to matter what game it is these days, people complain when it doesn't fit their personal playstyle. And that's OK. We all play games for different reasons. Maybe this just isn't the right game for that person. But that doesn't mean it's boring for everyone and a lot of people are actually enjoying it a lot and looking forward the the remainder of the game being released.

Being mindful that all players have agency is important, too. We have varying degrees of interest, time, investment, etc. Hobbies and passions are good things, but being too invested... it's just a recipe for a bad taste.
