Did blizzard continued development of Starcraft 2 after of Starcraft 3 got released ? Did EA Sports kept updating FIFA 2024 when FIFA 2025 got released ? Did Street Fitghter 5 got updates after Street Fitgher 6 got released ?! Just move on people, it's just a business decision, it's the same everywhere in the gaming industry and GGG is no exception. Business wise, it makes no sense to update the old iterations of the game, because all of your best resources needs to move to the new project. That's the circle of a game's life. Did you seriously thought that POE 1 would continue to live for the next 10 years at the same time as POE 2 ? LOL Wake up folks !! POE 1 will die a slow death, it's inevitable. |

there's a starcraft 3? hmm, i just deleted my bliz acct, so oh well, lol;
obviously the answer is just do all leagues at the same time with random iterations; no need to do a 'new' league; make it ongoing nobody really gives a rip about starting over with a level 1 anyway, it's been a long time and that shite is over (but they will probably continue it with poe2, smh) well, i was gonna reinstall and maybe go past level 50 with my one character to get the completion stuff, but... really so what; cancel install, smh derp so what kind of new computer do i need to play poe2? i guess it is time to upgrade, assuming i even bother to play it, but i would want to give it a try at least anyway, hf and llap (meh, wtf; i'll keep install and derp around with it some) alias: oatraa the only one ;#) (*&^) Last edited by oatraa#0465 on Feb 1, 2025, 2:32:17 PM

This community sucks ass and it has for years now. Have some empathy for the people working their ass off to make a game for you to play. In the meantime play something else and fucking chill, everything will be okay

From what i've read so far, people will complain just to complain. lot of old heads in here need to cope.

As someone who got the early access key "for free" due to spending over 500$ in supporter packs during the years playing PoE1 and also spending extra money for another key just to support the launch of PoE2, I feel I need to ventilate again.
During many years now, most of us who love PoE 1 have spent a considerate amount of money(myself over 500$) to support the development of the game and allowing GGG to further improving our beloved game. Some of that money has gone into developing PoE2 which is understandable and fine. However when you tell your playerbase that PoE 2 will not affect the development of PoE 1 you give a promise and reassurance that we can safely continue giving GGG our money and expect in return that we are given PoE 1 content and PoE 2 will be the extra icing on the cake once it is ready. Now you have lied to us for 6 months (or more) and you cannot even give us a timeline on PoE 1 or PoE2 going forward. I am glad that there are so many new fans/players of the PoE-franchise with the release of PoE 2. But I would think that if something does not happen to PoE 2 soon, many of these new players will drop off due to the many problems the game faces right now. I am not sure how many will come back when the economy resets and next big patch is released. This new large playerbase is not permananent and very much fleeting. How many players of the new playerbase will continue to pour money into the game moving forward? It is a free-to-play after all and I do not think the average new PoE 2-player will spend that much money into the franchise compared to the core PoE 1 player which has stuck around for years. GGG, you have screwed your core player base big this time and probably the safest source of income you have had over the years. You got a big one time payment with the launch of PoE 2 and I just hope your money will keep coming in from those new players. Me, myself I need some new reassurence before I swipe my credit card again and I feel like Im not alone. To the people who cannot understand why some of us cling on to PoE1 and does not fully embrace PoE 2. You need to understand that we have partially funded the development of PoE 2 for you to enjoy, while being promised that our fast paced and beloved PoE1 would co-exist.
