Trying to run two games at the same time is a strategic mistake. In the long run, it risks harming the quality of ideas and updates. The old game will always demand too many resources, which prevents staff from fully focusing on the new project. This stifles innovation, slows down fixes and rebalances. It is time to accept the reality: POE 2 has had its day, now it is time to turn the page and fully support POE 1 to give it every chance to shine.

people acting like waiting a few more months for an expansion is breaking the game smh it's not a big deal, have some patience

Q1/Q2 2026 is not 'a few months'.
Honestly, I think we should all take a step back and appreciate what GGG is doing here. Unlike most developers, they have always been transparent, communicative, and deeply connected with the community. They didn’t just drop a patch and disappear—they took the time to make a video, explain the situation, and even apologize. That level of honesty is rare in the gaming industry.

Yes, delays are frustrating, but quality takes time. If PoE1’s updates are taking longer because they’re pushing hard to make PoE2 amazing, then that’s a trade-off worth making. GGG has consistently delivered incredible content over the years, always listening to player feedback. Instead of complaining, we should acknowledge that they’re doing their best for both games and for us as a community.

Let’s show some patience and trust in a company that has earned it.
I swear if i could get a dollar every time i see somebody writes "transparency" i would get my money back for this shit poe 2 cashgrab.

If they had been transparent they would have disclosed this information last year, before people spent money on supporter packs, so they could have made an informed decision.
I am now a sad gamer.
GGG needs to focus on its main game, which is POE1... Everyone who bought early access to POE2 knew that it was an incomplete game and that it would take time to be ready. Nobody cares about waiting for POE2 to be ready soon. Focus on launching a good 3.26 league, and after that turn your attention to POE 2 while we're stuck with POE1... Treat POE1 as a priority and not POE2.

Sadly, Poe for Tencent is nothing, but Poe2 is main focus for best income=((

They've been playing longer than you though. Unless you meant the op then they've been playing just as long as you lmfao
Imo youre doin a great job. You archieved something that we oldschool players dont see much anymore and that is, that sequel of a game is better than its predecessor.
Thanks for great work and keep it up!
Id rather see poe 2 goin to its perfection, than play a new league in poe 2, where i probably wouldnt stay for long, as it happens with second-class games like diablo 3-4 when they release a season (skipped last one and completely ignored d3), other ones arent rly worth mentioning compared to poe 2.

How about an idea where you release poe 1 for modders so they can do whatever they want, like it is in d2 and its popular mods for example.

Stay sane
