A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players
Hmmm i think thats about it at this point just say development for POE1 has finished and your moving on with BADOE2.Tragic how a game declined to this point since you started development of 2 youve slowly but surely abandoned 1 to a saddening degree league after league more horrible ideas no fun involved no changes in skills gameplay or anything of the sort.As other people above have said i guess time to move on was fun till you allowed the crazy people to think they can get away with developing Diablo2 all over again and abandon what made GGG what they are... Tragic.

" "Transparency" in this case is just another word for "broken promises". |

Really tired of all the QOL prison and lying for years, hiding massive nerfs, refusing to fix trading
POE2 looks more like a moneygrab each day instead of just developing POE |
|
Say in plain text: “We are abandoning po1 and working only on po2.” Stop beating around the bush

I simply don't understand.
You already have something that's good. PoE 1 is a good, popular game. It's a stable and consistent source of entertainment for players. It's as reliable a stream of revenue for a company as they come. Why would you ever risk losing that? For what? A sequel that may or may not be successful? |

Dear GGG,
please take a moment to consider the reasons why people may spend money on your game(s). Sure, pretty MTX are fun, but consider that some - perhaps even many - are simply expressing their appreciation for you as a company taking a different approach to game development than the rest of the industry. For you pouring your heart and soul into your game(s). For monetizing your game(s) fairly. For not exploiting your players for profit (except with Lootboxes, you're better than this). Consider, then, that all that gets thrown out of the window the instant you simply abandon your game(s), be that intentionally or otherwise. Pulling Staff away from PoE1 had precisely this effect. Making overly ambitious claims like "PoE2 will remain in early access for at most year" has backed you even further into this corner for the foreseeable future. None of us want to see you go. We love you for the work you've done so far. But we simply cannot support you like this, if you turn your back on your own games like many other studios seem to do these days. Trust in your ethics as a company, once properly lost, is near impossible to rebuild. So I beg of you, please, do get your priorities straight - and fast! |

3.26 is going to be August 2025. Quote me if you want.

That is just objectively false.
PoE2 is beyond popular. Even Settlers - the most popular PoE1 league - only had a fraction of concurrent players this time into the league and that's with PoE2 having a fraction of the content. Stop kidding yourself. People don't hate PoE2, they LOVE PoE2. |

No. This is poor decision making and poor excuse.
I'm pretty sure, the majority of players (and these players are POE1 fans) would rather have you work on poe1 full time, than focus on POE2 and just killing the only game the the community likes. We do understand that POE2 is THE GREAT PROJECT, but man, at its current state its bad. I ts not worth it. * No content * Tons of bugs * Currency dupes * circumcised mechanic * only 1 use of each support gem.... No creativity, no desire to sit for hours and plan your build - it is devastating. If you will continue with this plan you would just kill your self. In fact, you are already doing so. By having such huge breaks from leagues in POE1. 7 months.... 4,774 players at the moment.... its just dead. maybe it really is time to move on to smth new. |

I suggest adding a wildwood to each map to remove this unpleasant taste in the mouth after this news... We are scummed... We are abandoned...
