Its a bit sh*t but I fully understand that you guys have limited resources and had to allocate them to POE2.
Please can we get the POE1 train going again - it feels like its been forever. Good luck team! |

This is a big L and a worrying sign that GGG may have fallen into the same trap as much of the gaming industry; chasing short term profits at the expense of the long term health of the company.
Honestly, pushing to get PoE2 out, when it was clearly not ready, and then diverting all resources to it to try and rescue it, has been a massive failure in leadership. Sad times. |

Usually I am not fond to comment in drama, but this time I just cant leave it.
GGG was always a prime example of transparency and honesty and I have recommended the game to everyone. This does redefine my view on you completely, unfortunately. Firstly, it was absolutely obvious that you will not be able to deliver a 3.26 while you use the team for poe 2. I am certain you were very much aware of this at least in decembre and could have told us. Secondly, you need to get all the major issues fixed in poe 2 first? No you dont! It is an EA and I think the whole and very supportive community of poe players would have had your back. The EA is there for a reason. It is, hopefully, not just to make money of the keys because the game will later on be free, but designed to improve the game over time. If you really think you can fix all major issues before 3.26, you will release 3.26 after poe 2 leaves EA. I know we are talking just about games here, but I am very sad and dissappointed. Originally I wanted to go for a large supporter pack, because I genuinely thought you just deserve it. However, the armor wasnt to my tasting and that saved me in the end. Now I am happy that I did not go for a larger pack and I will certainly not buy anything for a long time. I hope you can recover back to the spot where I can in all honesty recommend GGG and their prodcuts. |

Whoever didnt play your game long enough would expect something to be done in time and in quality. I tried poe2 for 30 hours maybe, didnt like it except for the graphics and now im back to ssf std poe1 and have fun a lot more than poe2 and poe1 league. Slow down for a minute to enjoy the beauty around us.

Appreciate the honesty.
Appreciate the admission that PoE2 launch was a dumpster fire with hundereds of thousands of players and fans (like me) being deeply dissatisfied with the outcome. Makes sense to fix this first. I have spent a couple of hundered of dollars to support you. Not sure if I will ever return. Maybe for PoE2 1.0. or a new PoE1 league. If it is still a buggy mess, catering to the souls-like crowd with fotom builds (and little else viable), my days as fan and supporter are counted, I guess. |
