A disgrace and a disappointment, but that's to be expected. Classic GGG scheme - to promise and not to fulfill. They said that POE2 will not affect POE1, as a result the first part sees less and less content, and the second part is an unfinished piece of junk that can't be fixed (hello economy and Chinese dudes). As a result: POE 1 is dying, all resources have been thrown at POE 2, and it will still take GGG a year or two to finish the project to the release state.
GGG is slowly dying.

-Of course, we will be able to make 2 games at the same time and the developers of POE 1 do not participate in the development of POE 2.
-Not that after the announcement of the development of poe 2 and poe mobile, the leagues in poe 1 became crap, and this is not related in any way.
-So we will release the league in poe 1 right after poe 2 is released.
Applause to developers from ggg for 2 years of shit content and + a year without content for POE 1.

Close this SHIT open beta poe 2, and make a normal league for poe 1.

Totally fair. You guys have been working so hard for so long, and have created the two best arpg games in the world with no competetors even remotely close or comparable to PoE. You deserve more acknowledgement of your work and decisions regarding Poe2. Keep doing what you are doing. Those who threaten with leaving will obviously come back, and we all know it. Thank you for taking your time to make sure to get it all right, and take some more if you need it. There is no point in burning out. There are so many builds to experiment with and try out in Poe2. I am excited to see what you have in store for us with 0.2.0.

I agree this is not optimal, but the amount of "Woe is me" people in chat like the world is ending is fucking pathetic.


guess it hits hard when GGG cant deliver sins they done nothing but sins 2012.

but to act like they are a bunch of filthy liars miscalculating the time and work management is absurd.

considering how big poe 2 early access is they really should just focus on poe 2 until summer.

I know we are all talking about video games here. GGG is a great company, making phenomenal games, and they should be free to do whatever they want. And players can vote with their wallets.

Regardless of GGG's good intentions, or even high skill level (game dev is hard and many AAA studios fail at it), the unfortunate reality right now is that many people, myself included, can no longer take what GGG says at face value anymore.

That trust and blind faith is gone now.

GGG could have said before the holiday break "hey guys, we're in way over our heads here. TBH we have no idea when things will release, but we'll take it a week at a time for both POE1 and POE2. This is going to be a wild ride!"

But instead GGG knowingly left people with the impression that 3.26 was in the works all this time. Only for players to find out at the very last minute that development on 3.26 hasn't even started yet.

Again, these are just video games and everyone is human. GGG is still a great company. But personally, I'm going to stop paying attention to GGG news and updates. Cuz even though it's well-intentioned, it's all just speculation and wishful thinking at this point.

The timelines, roadmaps, and various promises don't mean anything.

I love and appreciate all the effort and amazing games all of you at GGG put out. Your hard work and dedication shows, and if we have to wait a little while to see more excellent content I personally am more than happy to wait.

Yeah, o REALLY REALY hope that people will stop support GGG, stop buying MT and maybe they will learn not to FA with people that made this possible.
