A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

Finally the 1st year poe league let's go!

Honestly, when you guys made the call to run 2 games simultaneously at a time, I knew this was bound to happen. It would have been much better to focus solely on polishing one game instead of trying to divide resources between the two

Can you at least merge the 2 settler leagues together?

The development of PoE2 will not affect the development of PoE1 in any way. They are handled by different teams.

They made all the supporters of the project look like fools.

I'm really disappointed with this decision.
I bought the supporter pack thinking they would develop a better PoE1, but I regret it.

According to my total /played I gave poe2 over 340 hours. I did enjoy practising the campaign to get through it faster, but after seeing the patch notes for 0.1.1 I realised the direction the game is going in was intentional and will never have an endgame I want to grind long term unless several major design pillars are abandoned.

That's fair enough, we were warned it was going to be a different game, so back to PoE1 I went to complete some long term crafting projects and make a start on my Sporeguard grind while I wait for 3.26.

Looks like I'll be stuck in blighted maps a lot longer than expected :(

I'm feeling quite deflated after watching the update, but also kinda hoping that when PoE1 does get its next league it's a rushed mess that adds nothing new. I can finally complete my SSF unique grind and waltz off into the sunset, spending my supporter pack money on bubbly and cake instead :)

Wow people here are like drug addicts who got their dose delayed.
Chill guys… we had a lot good experience of GGG with Poe 1, Poe 2 was more great than other competing argps and its in EA.

Imagine while only steam still has almost 200k players daily in Poe 2, if they didn’t show effort to them. Specially to Bene people in Poe community. That would ruin their reputation for many long term players in future way more than delay in Poe 1.

They admit their mistake in overconfidence.
Remember, what big “AAAA” studios would do in this situation?
They would 100% cancel whole poe1 and just focus on poe2.

Now we just get abit DELAY. So go outside, play other games or roll hardcore or try min max min min max your Poe 1 characters. Try different classes.

Did they lie? Yes.. but not intentionally…

GGG team just keep doing what you see best to achieve greatness and best outcome for both games. Even people whine now about delay. They forget it when next league is F DOPE!!

This is very bad news for POE fans, both 1 and 2. This could be the beginning of the end, I hope I'm wrong.
