Can we finally get a fix on the random pc crashes/restarts?
I've tried every possible changes in my graphic settings and have tried to outsource for ideas, no luck. Apparently, it has something to do with the recent windows update 24H2 but rolling back to the previous 23H2 is no longer an option for me.
Come on GGG... This has been an ongoing issue for weeks now and Im sure you guys are aware of this!
Have you tried rolling back GPU drivers? Might be a conflict between the new Windows update and the drivers, as well.
Has to do with CPU usage skyrocketing from the PoE2 App.
Easiest fix atm is to go into Task Manager>Processes> and set the Affinity of PoE2 to ignore CPU 0 and 1. That way, if the game does crash, it won't completely nuke your computer and will have enough headroom to close the game
Easiest fix would be not to release game on EA before leaving on long vacations and not to leave people without proper communication on this problem. And definitely not to make players to think about workarounds on how to make this game work on their PCs/laptops.
Yes, I understand, that it's EA, but after initial threads with this problem popped up on forums there were 10+ "hotfixes" which were basically nerfing meta builds. Looks like, this is the priority for team.

You literally should, and it's expected that you do, have the basic reading comprehension to understand this low-level low-AF-stake basic concept. If you didn't like it, don't buy or invest the game until they had come back again. Like, it's literally that simple.
Are there some SERIOUS issues they need to address, hell yes. But they did indeed communicate that they wouldn't be able to solve them right away due to holidays.

The holidays ended 3 days ago. The company is already working, but there are still no fixes. Even a preliminary patchout, or notification, that work is already underway. As a result, there is just silence, it is not clear whether there are any movements or not. Are they going to do something or not. Everyone is waiting for at least some writing for the mind, but there is none. Absolutely no feedback.

Have you never bought an early access game before? You paid to join early access (if you want to even call it that since technically you got in game currency worth the price you paid). Complaining about a development company taking holidays off is just sad. If this was them releasing a full game (not EA or Beta) then by all means throw a fit about bugs/glitches etc and how it's poor of them to go on vacation at launch etc.
If you don't like playing early access games, then don't. It is ALWAYS a gamble when you buy into early access that you will even be able to play the game. Tons of games release in early access or kickstarter form on steam and you end up buying pure trash, that NEVER gets finished. It's perfectly fine if early access isn't your cup of tea, just wait till full release for games then.
Edit: Also should clarify, this isn't a normal early access (you start a few days ahead of everyone for full game release just so you can be ahead.) This was clear from the start it was paying to beta test (the game won't be out for prolly a year or more)
