Compromised PoE Accounts: Stolen Items and Hacked Accounts - Discussion and Leads

I haven't played for at least half a year now. The support was extremely incompetent, and I lost everything, despite 2FA, etc. They blamed me, etc., even though it was public knowledge at the time that the users were innocent and that they had a data breach. Unless there's some kind of apology and compensation, I'm staying away from this company forever.

Hacking is still happening, I just got hacked, went to sleep and logged in. Hacker took all my divines and a mirror in mercenary league. Contacted supported and wont do anything and said tough luck. Never got hacked in all of my gaming life only on this game.

Account got hacked, valuable items, currency stolen.

Seen someone selling my item on POE Trade.

I have picture as a proof to one of the item that i owned, and also a picture of the same stolen item being sold. The pictures got deleted within 3 minutes after i posted on forum.

Contacted GGG, time wasted.

The thing is, from my point of view the hacker is the one being protected. They decide to shut eyes on this incidents. Something fishy is going on..

Got hacked too. Putting it out here for awareness so people know it's an ongoing thingie. Took an expensive weapon, HH, divines, fracturing etc. Nothing crazy really but it's a shame because I kinda liked the league so far. Have always played using Steam with 2FA.

I've been hit as well, only took divines, mageblood, hinekoras lock, mirror shards, my equipped jewels and gear/gems. Left chaos and every other currency, had support remove my email from my account and will be strictly playing through steam I guess.

I just got hacked as well. They logged in from a different region. I was told that you should get an email code to verify yourself if you log in from a different region, I have no such emails. When I discovered I was hacked I was prompted that I was from a different region. They stole my mb and corrupted my gear.

I also got hacked last night. Was playing through standalone but steam account also connected. No mails from login attempts from different regions through steam. I assume it was a password leak since i hadn't changed it in a while.

Either GGG's system for the unlock code isn't working properly, or hackers have found a way to circumvent it, because I also didnt get an unlock code when my account was compromised.

Fun fact, support claims they also can't confirm IF a code was even sent to your account (not what the code was, just if the system was even triggered) so there is no way to verify if their system was even working at the time.

Just logged in on my acount, Got cleaned out :)
It happened in POE2 as well, and now in POE1. WIth no explanation, i have 2 factoru authentication enabled. I have checked steam login history, noone has logged in except me :)

GGG is down baaaadddddd.... 2 times in 1 year with no explanation....
