Exp loss on death topics are getting out of hand.
" And you are asking for XP penalty to be removed. Then you are going to ask for 1 portal limit to be removed. Then you are going to ask for bosses and rares to be nerfed. Then you are going to ask for maps to be smaller. Then you are going to ask for drops and currency to be higher. Then you are going to ask for talents and gear to be stronger. Then you are going to ask for move speed and dodge to be faster. Then you are going to ask for crafting and trading to be easier. Then you are going to pat yourself on the back thinking you are the best player for clearing a skeleton game while copying online builds. Then you are going to complain that the game isn't challenging. Then you are going to move onto the next game and do it ALL over again. Classic. Fixes and balances aren't about removing core designs. GGG can improve PoE2 in a lot of ways without listening one second to people like you. Feedback matters. Filtering feedback matters even more. |

" I mean, one-shots have been fixed in all the other genres by a very simple mechanic - the last hitpoint. In most fast paced action games, you're protected from instant death by the first killing blow within *insert condition and timeframe here* leaving you at 1 hp instead (sometimes with a certain amount of death immunity on top). There's really no reason not to implement this into PoE 2 other than "it wasn't like that before". It's not like people could abuse this forever - players are pressured by enemies constantly and emergency healing is finite. |

" Okay, I guess I lied, here I am entertaining you still, It's a feedback forum, not a solution forum. I give my take, positive or negative, with the current features. I move on. The devs see it or they don't. We all move on. All of things you mentioned genuinely have me concerned as I want this game to be a live-updated game, as they said it would. If they don't make changes or fixes to the aspects that make the game feel bad, I don't think it'll last. My feedback. I'm moving on. You should try it. Keep treating this extremely specific forum section as a place to give feedback on other players feedback, I guess if that makes you feel special? Although I don't think that was the intention behind its creation. There is a discussion channel though if you'd like to go there and try that out. |

" They are a minority. Demonstrably, factually so. The game has, at this very moment, 332,449 players on steam in game. This forum's most viewed (not even commented on) thread on the front page has a whopping 7558 views. Do you see where the forumdwellers are a minority there? It's always been true that the people that bother to go to fourms to type shit are a tiny, tiny fraction of any given playerbase. |

" Almost all of those people are still in campaign, just wait till they get to maps lmao |

" Yeah, sure. No one can like the game because you don't, they probably just don't know how to play. What a joke. |

" And half of those players are probably just getting to level 70ish , if that. Also, the minority of players are above that point, and even less above level 80. So, it could quite possibly be that minority here, giving their take. Idk for sure though. They've already implemented updates because of feedback & said they are going to continue doing so after the holidays. You're saying that the feedback forums are somehow not a majority, then where are they getting their feedback from? |

" So a couple things there: 1. I'm not "saying feedback forums are not the majority". That's a *fact*. 2. Any decent developer has internal metrics to base decisions on. 3. Just because something is not the majority doesn't mean the feedback doesn't matter. A good developer doesn't live under some kind of dystopian tyranny of the majority where "amount of vote" = "must be done". A developer with a brain is perfectly able to read feedback and *think about it* before deciding to act on it, or discard it. This is why forums are still useful (along with bug reports from forums being a very good source of common and uncommon technical issues), despite representing a tiny fraction of the player base. |

" Wait, how much time did you put into path of exile 1? We can see your forum post and your account details. According to both those things you 1) barely played path of exile 1 and 2) you argue with people who have on perfectly fair opinion. Stop arguing with people on their opinion, when you don't even actually care about the mechanic, they're talking about lol? |
