World of Warcraft as Auction Houses and you even can legally "bot" them with auctioneer and other tools and guess what? The Auction House still works.
Of course you will never win that Mirror-Worthy gear that has been accidently put into the 1 exalt tab but that you wouldn't also not win with the current system.

But when someone has an item in their sale for a week for price X and I just wanna buy it, I can just buy it and he doesn't have to leave his map for it.
It's a win/win for all sides.

Also we have Gold. Every transaction costs a fixed amount of gold. Sure you can then burst through some trades but won't be able to do it forever.

But then I can't price an item 1 ex and judge by the message spam how much it's really worth! I would have to select something other than buyout and no one filters for that! Trade would actually work and I can't scam people anymore! It's the only social contact I have!

Just don't be an a-hole by putting shit into a cheap stash and have small players hope just because you are not checking your items.
Why should a whole community have to live on such a bad system where you need up to 5 hours to buy one single item just so that lazy people put their items into a 1c stash then 50c then 100c then 50ex then 1d then 10d and never sell until they get no requests anymore then they lower it over the time of 3 days down to 5ex again because only one person needed that item because it was niche with it's stats that no one else would've needed.

Price your items yourself not by anooying whole trade.

Nobody plays every build. They don't know what every item is worth. They wouldn't know if a certain affix roll matters, causing two items with same affixes to have vast difference in value. They are getting spammed by flippers that have good knowledge in the game. In my opinion, it is okay if they have to amend the price. Likewise, it is your right to add them into your block list.
