TRADE DISASTER!!!!

Its impossible to trade! Literally no one is answering, or even if they answer the price got changed immediately or they just dont trade in the hideout.

Devs MUST do something about this! I rather pay 10$ on RMT site to quickly got what I need instead of this TOTAL TRADE MESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there!

Well, you have lots of players getting attuned to the trading game for the first time. Often people drop items in their 1 exalt trash tab, get hundreds of whispers and go in /DND to check prices. Honestly, my experience so far was getting the item I wanted relatively quickly, after 5-6 tries on the website.
Personally, it is not meant to be an insult, I'd ignore people very fast if they sent invites first, write me up repeatedly or use something like capslock or exclamation marks.

Best of luck,

People might actually be able to help you instead of turning the thread into a "i hate trading it sucks" circle jerk like every other one.

I've literally never had a problem buying anything, but I actually know what im doing. But just saying it sucks I can't help you there.

i mean, if there's more threads complaining about it obviously it's a problem and a annoyance to players. I've seen stuff even on youtube video's asking for a auction house because they can't stand the trade website.
In an interview after Last Epoch showed off their Bazaar system, they said they would add an instant-buyout system via gold and an NPC. More recently they repeated a few streamers that said currency exchange fixed 90% of the issue.

Do you know when I stopped playing a PoE1 league? Shortly after I had to interact with the trade system to progress. It killed my will to play the game every league. It's either get stuck at a wall or spend half or more of your time getting interrupted while mapping to sell something, or whisper 100's of people getting no responses.

The other day I finally decided to trade on PoE2. I wasn't getting upgrades, rolling wasn't working out well, so needed to buy to progress. It took me over 2 hours to get 3 pieces of gear. After all that, I played one waystone then quit, haven't touched PoE2 since.

I want to play a game on my terms, do what I want when I want, not sit about my hideout whispering dozens of players to try and get an upgrade, but you don't get the option unless you want your build potentially hard stuck.

If they don't end up adding instant-buyout by release, there are plenty of other games I'd rather play that don't waste my time. My friends all feel the same.

exactly this!
A game with this many players cannot have an arcane trading system.

Look at Diablo 2. It didn't take long for an external site to capitalize on that to the point where 90+% of all trades happened there.

That can be the future of PoE2 trading if it isn't made convenient for players.

It comes down to respecting people's time. Between this and the losing maps on death along with XP penalty, a lot of players are going to feel disrespected.
