POE2 Shutdown of my PC: A fix

I experienced the same problem; but in my case it finally killed my Gaming Laptop. It's not even charging anymore.

It kept freezing so i had to constantly wait for the battery to die and then boot it up again and or remove the battery and direct wall power the laptop to turn it on again

ASUS TUF-F15 (Laptop)
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12450H 2.00 GHz
GPU: RTX 3050-TI
32GB RAM
Windows 11 Version: 24H2

Steam Launch Settings: --noasync --softwareaudio --nopreload

VSync: Off
Upscale Mode: FSR
All Other Graphical Settings: Medium

Task Manager Set Affinity - unticked 1/0 so i could still control the CPU and alt tab out of it and force close the game.

But after doing that it just bricked.
Im out of options and im going to have the laptop fixed tomorrow but its freaking DEC23 and god knows when i'll get it back.

I am once again experiencing shutdowns. There aren’t any voltage spikes and I’m out of ideas at this point.
i have similar issue. POE2 always shut off my computer (i.e. power off suddenly) randomly, no matter how low i changed the graphic quality. I am very sure the CPU temperature is normal without any issue. I also play other games and never happen this before. I am using Asus rog G614 laptop with 4060 graphic card. It should be more than enough for this game. I updated few driver versions and did many diagnosis but still couldnt find the issue. Any suggestions?

I am temporarily stable again after deleting shaders and compatdata. I don’t know what to make of any of it at the moment. I don’t believe this has anything to do with my end at this point.
check your event viewer windows logs>system if you have an error like this one

I’m on Linux (Bazzite HTPC latest)
Ran a 12 hour long prime95 torture blend test via terminal.
Never broke past 68C despite using A12-LS fans on my U12S instead of full speed A12 fans. May still replace the LS fans for a a full speed — but temps aren’t the issue, neither is Intel degradation of 13th gen chips.

I have an unopened SF1000 PSU that I’m going to open up and place into the machine to end any concern of a voltage spike when system is at full utilization tripping the existing PSU. It’s certainly possible with an SF750, but fully impossible with a 1000W platinum powering an ITX board, a 7900XTX, and a 13600K.
i tried everything mentioned for fix, nothing works, every time when i took a portal or even i open my chest or my skill tree it crash at desktop ,i can relaunch the game fine right after , but every time at go to login char screen it crash again to desktop at the loading, i have to relaunch it 3 or 4 times to works again somehow.

it's very random sometime i can play like 4 hours ,or just 5min
Swapped the PSU to 1000W Plat with an OPP of 1300W or so.
Stress tested each component: RAM, GPU, CPU.
All good.

Still hard crashing.

In a Hail Mary: I thought, “what if the game’s frame limiter isn’t working, and without the frame limiter the game attempts to render infinite frames?”

I forced MangoHud to place a limit (sorry Windows folks — idk how you’d do this). So far so good. I have less hardware utilization all around?
Glad that I'm not the only one that has the hard restart, instead of freeze at loading. Mine does not freeze, but just hard restarts at loading screens.
