Trial of Sekhemas is just unfair and not fun at all
"...the majority of people who don't commit to playing the game."
You're 100% right. The majority of people don't commit to playing video games because they have real jobs, wives, children....you know...*actual lives outside video games* and don't have the time (or, frankly, the desire) to play video games for 4-18 hours/day. There's a difference between making something non-trivial and making it purposely frustrating and overly difficult. The average gamer plays for 7 hours/week. That's 7 each *week,* not each day. Very few players will repeatedly put their limited time into something that is designed to frustrate them. If these game devs want a dedicated player base of a few thousand no-lifers, they're on the right track. If, however, they want to maintain or grow the player numbers they have after the novelty of a new game wears off, they need to make some changes and the crap honor system, on-death effects and lingering poison/chaos damage floor effects are just a few. |

Remove honor. Allow each level to have a challenge (allowing you to choose like PoE's Ascendancy). That's all. Reduce the frequency of debuffs for Chaos Trials.
Restrictive play should be done voluntarily by players who want to get the most rewards, and should not be forced. |

" So, remove the challenge part of the trials and the entire reason they exist? That's a good plan, you might as well just give away the... oh wait, that was your next idea, just give away the points without even a boss fight. Trails are voluntary, you don't NEED to do them at all. If you want the reward you get for doing them, then you will do them. |

My big issue with trials personally is that way too much random luck is involved, and you can get screwed to the point of it being literally 100% impossible to kill the 4th trial's final boss, Zarokh, due to bad luck before you even get there. I had it happen, details in my reply on this post.
Bad luck should only be able to result in making things harder, not literally impossible for any member of the human race to perform. My death on this last one was not a skill issue and NOBODY could have beaten it. |

I just did my 4th attempt and reached the scorpion boss 3 out of the 4 times and failed. Practically impossible to dodge and attack with my extremely already slow warrior.
Sanctum was by far my least favorite league mechanic because I'm simply just not the best at dodging. The fact that a league mechanic, (Which relies mostly on luck), is mandatory for ascendancy is downright mind boggling. I've quit, will come back if they change ascendancy as I don't think I want to attempt sanctum anymore as I never had fun doing it before. |

scorp on warrior was easy, first try even.
Mash the clean

Yup

" it's literally one of the main reasonings for playing your class lmao. |

" As long as there is honor, players are forced to be evasive. At least while it is associated with ascendancy, I think it should be a specification that can be exploited by the individuality of each build, such as ES, armor, hp, etc. If this was one of the sub-contents, I would have been fine with forcing evasion. But ......Ascendancy is content that everyone does. In ordeals, in some cases, all options have debuffs. Such situations no longer exist options to avoid the debuff. This is very stressful for those who try for the sole purpose of obtaining the ascendancy. After I got the ascendancy, I never want to play this content again. Sanctum and Ultimates are too selective systems to be the main content. |

" Good thing you don't have to do sanctum/Sekhema. |
