Turn off trading, ban all RMT botters
See title. The trading board is in the hands of RMT bots. Random items cost 20+ divine.
Turn off trading until further notice, investigate all the botters and ban everyone that has a significant amount of Exalt or Divine Orbs. Trading board is as off now, unusable. Last bumped on Dec 20, 2024, 3:21:21 PM

Agree, seriously harming my will to play-- nothing is selling, nothing can be purchased. The market is a mess.

OR....
its early access, ignore trade and give SSF a try |

" Sincerely, F*ck SSF. As long as crafting is as crap as it is now, and as long as loot is crap as it is now, Trading is the only viable option for some builds to get the items they need. Example? I have a level 52 witch with minions. Guess how many usable Sceptres i found, either on the nsc traders, or on the ground? Zero. Last edited by NewLanatir#0574 on Dec 18, 2024, 7:08:06 PM

+1
They implemented gold and right now we use it for gambling and respec'ing, but later on can be expanded as a tool to control the market. This close to a game launch? they won't risk it. Specially considering some (quite a few) content creators / streamers and prominent community members are literally in on it. At one point, if memory serves me right, almost 2/3 of the entire "mirror item" market was created by people that literally confessed to doing RMT. Maybe a year or many years after release and after POE2's pop has overtaken POE1. Mayyyyybe then they will start to do something. I suspect the first thing they will try is some sort of flea-market a-la-Escape-From-Tarkov where gold is used as tax to mitigate price fixing and to give us a fighting chance at understanding the real value of items. POE 2 > Twin-stick shooter with DS-like bosses, no crafting just gamba, no zen.
POE 1 > aRPG, amazing crafting, can be zen. D2 > zen, no crafting, rune words. |

Can you show us these random 20 div items?
If i take an item out of my 1ex tab and list it for 20 will that make you angry? Will anyone buy it? Show me the piece of gear you are trying to upgrade, and whatever insane trade filter (copy the url at the top) you are using to look for said item. Are new players looking for mirror tier gear while they are lvl 50 and getting upset? |

" I'm pretty sure in an interview they said they were looking to do full item trading auction house style, but after trialing currency trading in Settlers league they decided it fixed 90%+ of the problem and decided no longer to do auction house. I was severely disappointed by that. I hate trading and the moment I start getting forced to do it by the game in PoE1 to try and overcome a wall, I end up quitting. It's because I spend more time dealing with price fixers, non-responders, and having to jump out of my map for a trade they cancel on me anyway. It's not fun, and it ends up taking more time then playing the actual game. Newer players to PoE in general are going to bounce off trade real hard or not even realize it exists, thus getting stuck when the game gets harder and they can't find gear to progress. |

" Well, 3 Days ago the same items went between 5 and 10 Exalt. And those are not high end items. they are level 40. That is leveling stuff. Why are you defending RMT? Are you one of them? |
