I lost access to my POE2 early access
50+ hours in the game and suddenly lost my access. Absolutely absurd.

" I have lost access to the game and I see that GGG is not responsible for keys acquired through third parties. Although the code was initially accepted on my PoE account, which implies that the necessary checks were carried out to ensure that it had not been used by someone else, and I was subsequently provided with another code to redeem on Steam linked to my PoE account, which was also accepted. At this point, there have been two types of verifications with their respective account and key bindings. I do not understand how a third party, simply requesting a refund for the first code, without having any linkage to any account, can cause me to lose my access. Gentle reminder that buying keys is worse than straight up pirating games, so if you care about games or developers and dont want to lose access because of whatever reason, buy it through the most direct way, its as easy as that

Just adding to this thread. Account locked with no explanation whatsoever, I bought it directly through Steam so no "funny keys" here.
I work full time and this is the only period throughout the whole year where I have free time to game and it has all been squandered due to this locking for a game I have paid money for. I have been singing the games praises to anyone that will listen and have been forced to reverse that and warn people not to spend their money with this company who will arbitrarily lock your account and proceed to completely ignore you. This has literally never happened with any other game or company in my over 2 decades of gaming. Support really needs to get their shit together and quadruple their efforts to resolve these issues because it is simply unacceptable to treat your paying customers this way. The game itself is great and I simply want to PLAY IT after PAYING FOR IT when I could have just waited for full release. I chose to support the early access and made plans to play during this free period. All the effort of the actual dev team in making the game could really suffer the consequences of this nonsensical locking system and this kind of negative press can turn off a lot of potential new early access purchases if not dealt with swiftly. It really is in their best interest to not kill peoples interest in the game by not handling this quickly. |
