Why nerf Arsonist instead of buff other minions?

It's the same with all the game developers this days, instead of bringing everything to be viable, nerf whatever works so that they feel equally sh1t...Then nerf the monsters as a result so that the nerfed skill goes again on pair and the others feel somehow good.

In poe1 they killed all minion builds, except for some specters and I'm sure they will nerf them like the rest, just for fun. Does this somehow magically increase profits? Do people playing minions donate less or what, what is the point of this hatred. Given that, for example, the gameplay on RF builds is even lazier.

But the answer is that nerfing one minion only need one number change, while boosting all other minions needs all the numbers to change...

You cant use the command skill of storm mage or arsonist late game. Once you get resists + minion life, SRS is well above the threshold to use the arsonist command, even with infernal legion and feeding frenzy, its just impossible unless you delevel SRS to whatever threshold.

Storm mage is even worse, your skeletons literally never die outside of boss fights or an extremely insane breach which is getting nerfed next patch.

These command skills also have different typing than minions, my arsonists are 6 linked, only a single support works with their command skill as its not an attack. The damage is pititful, and it absolutely RAPES your mana bar. Its the most useless shit imaginable.

Other minions are so fucking bad, that even if they DOUBLED the spirit cost of arsonists, and HALVED their dps, everyone would still use them. Thats how bad the other skeletons are, its a complete joke.

Just be glad the nerf isn't that bad and that maybe they fix pathing so doing maps like augur or towers doesn't take minion builds 3x as long as anyone else.

actually most ranged builds are almost 1 button. And not far nerfed cast-on-X were absolutely 1 button. While as minion class, you need like 6-7 buttons with curses, offerings, flamewall, corpse explosions, minion skills - to do any damage.

While having ~480 spirit spend entirely on minions, with 19lvl gem, 5 links, doggy with aoe exposure, +7 from items - dps is far from any ranged class. Even playing titan with widescreen exposions and shotting endgame bosses with single hammer of god.
And arsonists are only viable minion due to 3proj+aoe overlapping interaction results in 1.92x dps increase. Overwise it's just trash. I tried running other minions, spamming 15 gas arrow etc - it's the most cancerous gameplay.

GGG just try make just another caster, but with proxy mediators as minions. You stil press buttons, buttons stil have cd, you still have casttime, then minions have casttime also. Super clunky.
And it all with fact spirit is concurrent with other auras/meta mechanics which makes builds less powerful also.

Because the net result is that builds remain equivalently powerful while lower relative to the content than if everything else came up.

I mean, it's blatantly obvious and clearly the answer, but hey, someone still asked the question right?

The quality bonus is applied to their command skill or their attack tab I think. I don't remember the specifics but if you press alt on the skill gem and change the tab to command skill or attack I believe there you will see the bonus it gives.

The only skeleton type I don't use, because Infernal Hound ignites gas for me, so it's not necessary to use them, besides with clerics and lazy build without temporary minions there's no space for detonating summons anyway. For me useless summon becomes even more useless :P
