[Feedback] Movement Speed on Boots is Mandatory, Make It Implicit

Yep. It should be.

Just the same how Flask Slots should be an implicit on belts.

Not sure why they don't just make this an implicit.

If a specific mod is so strong you'd always want it on any piece on any character (MS on boots) then why is it still an explicit modifier?

Maximum life is an okay explicit modifier. You don't always want Maximum Life on your gear. However, not having movement speed on your boots is outright trolling yourself.

Movement speed not only makes it faster to traverse maps and clear packs. It also makes it so bossing mechanics are easier to dodge. Try maneuvering across boss mechanics with and without movement speed and tell me MS doesn't make it easier.

It was always a binary decision for both POE1 and POE2 in terms of gearing for boots.

"Does it have movement speed on it?"
"No?"
"Oh, well then. It's trash/gold/regal shard/transmute shard"

If you played this game for long enough, then you will know that it does.

Every sane POE2 OR POE1 player will always want movement speed on their boots.
It's a mandatory stat.

Even if the boots had max rolled Life/ES, 2 Resistances and Chaos Res, if it doesn't have any movement speed, it will be fodder because moving out of monsters chasing you / boss attacks / aoe ground effects / etc. to AVOID damage is much much better than tanking the damage instead.

I'm insane then.
There are some jumps, shield charges, teleports to enemy, may be something else, i haven't played all classes

How about:
everyone gets 10% movespeed bonus, movespeed stat on boots changed to "10% movespeed for "x"s after dodging" to make dodge spammer move faster.

I'm just not see'ing the problem, yes it's a very good borderline mandatory stat on boots, yet I've not had any problem finding or buying them from vendors since the start of the game.

I also seem to remember monster movement speed scaled with the players movement speed in PoE somewhere, the main advantage is for bosses.
Agreed.

It's clear the design intent is that we don't ignore them through excessive mobility skills, at which point they need to be easier to acces.

I think having a 10-20 implicit based on base ilvl and the other 5-15 be an explicit could also work.
